When a boy takes one step forward, I take three steps back.
I've given so much to someone who never really deserved anything.
From the day that I was born, I knew that there's no place to hide.
I'm stuck between the burning shade and the fading light.
I'm eager for everything that lies ahead of me in my future.
I can't wait to leave this utterly pathetic excuse of a town.
I believe in as many chances as it takes to get everything right.
& I've come to realize that it's not boys who make or break you;
it's only you that decides.
