So there's this guy...
he's really popular and has all these popular friends in our honors Chemistry class. Today, he asked me to be my lab partner. At first I thought he was only using me because he knows I'm smart. Then later in class he came up to me and said "I promise you  I do work. I didn't ask you to be my partner so you would do everything for us. I really did just want to be your lab partner." Later, when we were doing our lab, he was talking to me instead of his friends and later asked for my number. I know this is really stupid but being those kinda girls where boys, especially popular jocks, don't just come up to you; i was really happy. Maybe this is a sign telling me that I'm not so bad after all. Maybe, just maybe, one day I might have a boyfriend. This is such a stupid story but it honestly made my day.
