Silent
Love.
Chapter
Two.
That night, we took a walk down
by the lake.
We were pretty bored.
"So. How was your date with Jay?" I asked. "eh.. I
don't know if I should keep dating him. He seems like an
idiot." Adrianna said. She looked up at me and noticed I was
smiling.
"What are you so happy about?" She questioned. I
coughed. "Um, Nothing. I'm just a happy person,
ya know?"
I joked. She laughed. "I've noticed." She sat down
on the dock, and looked down at the water. "Have you ever
loved anyone before?" She asked. "Um," I
wasn't sure what to say. "yeah, I guess." I sat
down beside her. "Well, how does it feel?" She asked. I
gave her a confused look. "You know, being in love. How does
it feel?" She waited for me to respond. "Pretty
good." I shrugged. She laughed. "That's it? PRETTY
GOOD? You've gotta be kidding me, Chris."
"Haha,
I'm joking. It feels amazing. But after a while, it starts to
really get to you." I looked away.
"What do you mean?" She asked.
"I mean, if you love someone who doesn't love you back,
it just starts to hurt you. and eventually it changes the way you
think about yourself." I explained. "Really?
Well..what do you think of yourself?"
"I think I'm a mess." I answered.
"Aw, that's not true." She put her hands on my
face. "you're adorable." she told me. I think I
blushed. She took her hands off my face and decided to lay down
and stare at the sky. It was pretty much night time. There was a
slight breeze in the air.
It was fall. It was the perfect season for me.
I decided to lay next to her.
She looked at me. "So who were you in love with?" She
asked.
"I can't answer that." I smirked.
"well can you at least describe her?" She demanded.
"Alright well. She always had a smile on her face. She
always seemed happy to me. She's also a great friend.
I've known her since elementary school." I was afraid I
said too much.
She giggled. "She seems nice." She moved closer to me
and started to cuddle close with me.
I wonder if she knows I was talking about her..
