My name is Mary
I have been a member of this website since I was in eighth grade
but you can find me here
My
dearest Witty Profiles,
Lol I don't even know why
I signed on here again. I doubt I will be back.
I'm too old for this obviously, but Witty, you
were great while you lasted.
Thank you for being there when I was young and naive and stupid,
but this place just isn't going to cut it anymore. It is not
what it used to be.
I know that you are not the only one who has changed, as I have done
my fair share of growing up,
but this just is not working out anymore.
I do not regret you and I will cherish the memories. I wish you
luck in
your future endeavors.
Stay
out of trouble, babe.
Love, Mary

It's the loneliest feeling in the world
to find yourself standing up
when everyone else is sitting down. To have
everybody look at you and say,
“What’s the matter with her?” I know what it
feels like. Walking down an empty street, listening to the
sound
of your own footsteps. Shutters closed, blinds
drawn, doors locked against you. And you
aren’t sure
whether you’re
walking toward something, or if you’re just walking
away.
I
have been making a list
of the things they don’t teach you at school. They
don’t teach you how
to love somebody.
They don’t teach you how to be famous. They
don’t teach you how to be rich or how to
be poor. They don’t teach you
how to walk away from
someone you don’t love any
longer. They don’t teach you how to know what’s
going on in someone
else’s mind.
They don’t teach you what to say to someone who’s
dying. They
don’t teach you
anything worth knowing
Sometimes it seems like you are the only one in the
world who is struggling,
who is frustrated, unsatisfied, barely getting by. But that
feeling is a lie. And if
you just hold on and just the courage to face it
all for another day, someone
or something will find you. Because we all need a little help
sometimes,
someone to help us hear the music in the world. To
remind us that
it won't always be this way.
