Okay, well just be yourself for one thing. If you're sarcastic, be sarcastic. If you're funny, tell jokes. Just act like you would around any other person. Because if you want things to go somewhere, you can't build a relationship on acting as if you're not yourself. Get it? Ask him questions, be interested in him. What I usually do is I talk to a guy, tease him a little. I joke around with him, and just try to be myself. If it gets really uncomfortable, crack a joke. Chances are, guys will love it when a girl tries to break the awkwardness. It makes them see that you're willing to act silly to make everyone comfortable. Just be yourself! Smile at him, be nice. Joke around. Have fun with it. Don't stress out too much, try to be relaxed. Let your personality do the talking.

Every one gets nervous around opposite in the begin. it is a good sign it means you are scared of messing things up. just start hanging out with him with your friends and the will make the awkwardness go down a little. just when you are with your friends and him make sure you are your self. when talking to him try making jokes and trying to get to know and talk about things he likes.
