Chapter
Twenty
Trevor's POV
"Let's go!" I
said.
I grabbed Olivia's hand and ran out of the room and down the
long hallway. The train started to stop so we finally got
out of the train and headed for the woods. We ran all over the
place not knowing where we were exactly.
"Stop..Stop." Olivia said.
We were deep enough into the forest to stop and I don't think
that they will come into the woods to find us.
"It's my arm. It's still bleeding." she
said.
I tore of my sleeves of my shirt and tied it around her
arm.
"That should help." I said.
"Thanks." she said.
She got up and we walked down the huge hill to find a trailer
park. I looked at her and grabbed her hand.
"Wait here. I'm going to be right back." I
whispered.
She nodded and I walked in the trailer park. I looked to see if
there were any clothes hanging up or blankets laying out.
It was already dark out and probably at least nine or eight
o'clock. I found a trailer with clothes hanging up. I
ran over there grabbed half of the clothes and two quilts. I ran
back to the woods and back to the big giant tree where I left
Olivia.
"Trevor?" she asked.
"I'm here. I'm here." I said.
"I'm freezing." she said.
"Here, I got some clothes." I said.
"Thank you." she said and took them.
I laid down one of the quilts and rested the other one on top for
now.
"I'm going to change. I'll be right back." I
said.
"Okay. I'm gonna change too." she said.
I nodded once and walked further down the forest. I grabbed gray
sweatpants and a navy-blue shirt. I took off my swimming trunks
and old shirt to put them on. I walked back and Olivia was
sitting wrapped up in the quilt.
"Hey." I whispered.
"Hey. " she said.
I sat down next to her and she wrapped some of the quilt around
me. I reached for her hand and wrapped my fingers around
hers.
"Maybe we should get some sleep now." she
whispered.
"Yeah. That'd be best thing to do." I
whispered.
I pulled on the quilt and it was on our stomachs. I went to lay
down and she laid her head on my shoulder.
"I love you, Olivia." I whispered.
"I love you too." she whispered.
I kissed her forehead and I closed my eyes. This is not going to
be a good night for sleeping. A. I helped kill a person today.
And B. I was sleeping on the forest ground with nothing for a
pillow.
This is a good night.
Olivia's POV
I killed a person. I killed him
with my own two hands. A murder. A killer. A sixteen year old
murderer. I didn't sleep well that night knowing I was
haunted by the images of me and my anger towards the man and the
gun. I didn't think. I did. I would of never done that
before. Now I have to. For safety. Trevor stole some clothes and
blankets for the night. I'm still thinking about that
list and why they would think that I would have it. I laid down
on Trevor's shoulder and looked up at the night sky. The
stars barely twinkling tonight. The moon I couldn't see.
Laying next to Trevor made everything kind of stop. Like I
didn't feel scared for once and that no one was trying to
kill me or hurt me. Even though I'm already hurt. I heard
Trevor snore and I chuckled under my breath. I don't know how
he could sleep. I killed someone then he threw him out the window
of a train. This is all so weird and strange. I wish I could just
go back to school and be normal. This is not okay and Trevor has
been with me the whole time. He could of left me. I could of been
on my own and possible killed if he wasn't here.
"Thank you." I whispered.
I saw a smile spread across Trevor's face. I kissed him
gently and I closed my eyes to try and get some sleep. Even
though I highly doubt that's possible.

Chapter
Nineteen
Olivia's POV
Crying on the small couch in the train and I
realized that I didn't like running or hiding. I don't
even know what they want. Trevor came and sat next to me. He
embraced me gently as I cried onto his shoulder some more. My
sobs turned into sniffles after a while. I didn't have
anymore tears left. I felt a wave of exhaustion flow over me and
I yawned.
"Are you tired?" He asked.
"Yeah. I am." I said.
"Then sleep. I'm not going anywhere." He
whispered.
"I will in a bit." I yawned.
He put his arm around me and I rested my head on his shoulder.
We stayed there for a while in silence. I swear I heard him
snore a little. I really didn't want to sleep. I was nervous.
I tried to fight against the heaviness of my eyelids
feeling on edge and I couldn't really wrap my head around
everything. My eyelids were heavy and I finally let them win and
I slept. I slept for maybe thirty minutes and then there was loud
knocking on the door.
"Oh my God." I whispered.
"Sh. It's okay." He whispered. "I'll go
look."
"I'm going too." I said.
"Stay."
"No!" I glowered at him.
"Fine. I don't want to fight with you right now. So come
on." he said reaching out his hand.
I wove my fingers with his and we slowly got off the couch and
walked towards the door. We reached the door and my heart
was racing and my eyes wide. He moved the curtain over the window
to see a middle aged man wearing all black staring at us. He
pointed at me and only me. The man was trying to get in but
Trevor fighting against him. I grabbed the necklace my Grandma
gave me and closed my eyes.
Stick to the training. I chanted in my head.
I opened my eyes and saw Trevor still trying to keep the door
closed and the man trying to get it open. I looked at
Trevor.
"Training? Remember it?" I asked.
He nodded once.
"Open the door on three. And then close it when he comes in.
Stick to the training."
He looked at me surprised and horrified.
"Don't check on me." I whispered.
He nodded once again. With wide eyes screaming with fear.
"One..Two...... Three." I whispered.
Trevor's POV
I opened the door the man came running in and tried to grab her.
She moved out of the way and she punched him in the nose. The man
winced back in pain and he tried to grab at her again. She kicked
him in the shin and punched him in the gut. He kicked at her
ankles while pushing her backwards and she fell.
"Uh!" She muttered.
He grabbed her legs and started dragging me away. Where is
Trevor?
"TREVOR!!!" She screamed. "TREVOR
HELPP!!"
She tried grabbing onto anything she could to stay in the room. I
was behind the man and I punched the back of his head with all my
might. The man let her go and turned towards me. She got up
and jumped on the man's back. She started hitting him and I
pushed him into a wall and at the last second he turned his back
to the wall and almost crush her.
"Gah!" She murmured under my breath.
I got punched in the face and I winced backwards. I need my
training instincts back. She cleared her throat and he stopped so
did I.
"You want me right?" She asked the man.
"Yes." He spat.
"Then why are you attacking him?"
"Defense."
"You know how easy it is to pick me up and run but I guess
your just to stupid to figure out."
"Olivia stop." I whispered.
"I mean seriously." She continued. "I barely know
how to defend myself."
I looked at her with horror and she glowered at the
man.
"Olivia, please stop, please." I whispered.
"Why?" She asked. "I want him to take me and not
you."
"Oh, I see now. You two love each other." the man
said.
"Yes. We are!" She spat. "Do you love
someone?"
"Funny, Kid." he said.
He stepped closer to her and she backed up. The man rushed
towards her and she lunged punched him and he winced backwards.
He swung at her but she blocked it and twisted his arm back. She
kicked his ankles and he fell with a loud thud. Olivia broke a
leg off of a chair ready to hit him.
"WHO DO YOU WORK FOR?" She screamed.
"The FBI." he replied.
"WHAT DO YOU WANT FROM ME?" She screamed.
"The list!" he yelled.
She hit him in the head with the chair leg.
"I DON'T HAVE A LIST!" She spat.
She was flipped off him and she lay helplessly on the floor. I
lunged forward to hit him but I stopped because he had just
pulled out a gun and pointed it at me then at Olivia.
"Kid, come on make my job a lot easier and just give me the
List."
She looked up at me her face sad and soft. Then she look at the
man and hung her head.
"I don't have a list." She murmured. "I
don't have a list."
He loaded the gun and looked at both of us. He rested his finger
on the trigger.
"Won't you need me? I'm important aren't
I?" She asked.
"Olivia, stop." I whispered lowly.
"He needs the information from me. If I'm dead so is
he." She glowered at both of us.
"No they need you. But if I accidentally kill you. Then were
okay." he smiled devilishly.
I launched himself towards the man and kicked the gun out of his
hands. The man pressed the trigger and the gun fired.
"Ouch! OW!" She screamed.
I had to focus on my training and ignoring her and her pain. I
punched the man and he punched me in the gut many times. He
pushed me to the wall and started choking me. Gasping for air and
the courage I spit in his face. He took his free hand to wipe off
the spit. He was still choking me and his grip got tighter.
She had my eyes wide and said," You shot me so I shoot
you."
"You wouldn't dare, Kid." he laughed.
"Watch me."
She pushed on the trigger sending a bullet racing for his throat.
He fell and so did I. Gasping for air. I laid down on the ground
trying to catch my breath again. I got p finally after a few
minutes and she had a horrified look on her face and she dropped
the gun.
"I'm... I'm a murder." She whispered. "We
have to get off this train and get rid of him."
I walked over towards the window and I broke it with the old tv.
I pick him up with the gun and threw them out the
window.
"Let's go." I said.

Chapter
Eighteen
Olivia's POV
We were in this town and I started
to think that maybe my grandparents know something about
this.
"Would you think that my grandparents would know?" I
asked Trevor.
"I don't know maybe. We should go and check." he
said.
"I agree. My 'parents' were close to them and we
would go to dinner with them a lot. They might know."
He nodded and we pulled into a gas station. I got out and skipped
over to the driver's side.
"Should I drive I could find it quickly from here." I
said.
"Sure." he said laughing.
I playfully pecked him as he got out of the car. I hopped in and
pretended to drive. I had way to much energy right now. I watched
cars and people around me and they were pointing and whispering.
I didn't care. I was having fun and enjoying myself.
"Hurry up, babe." I said through the window.
"I'm going as fast as I can." he said laughing.
I started jumping up and down. Trevor finally got into the car
and we drove off to my grandparents' house. I parked the car
in the driveway and I got out. I walked up to the door quickly
and Trevor followed close behind. I rang the door bell.
"Grandma! Grandpa! Open up!" I shouted.
The door opened seconds later. My grandma had her arms open and
eyes wide.
"Oh, hi! How are you?" she asked.
"Uh, not so good. Grandma, we need to talk to you." I
said.
"Okay. Come in, come in." she said.
We walked in and I saw my Grandpa on the couch sleeping. She
walked us to the kitchen and we sat down at the
table.
"Do you know
about my parents?" I finally asked.
"Yes. I heard I'm sorry." she said.
"They were my real parents right?" I asked.
"No. No, they weren't."
"Then who were they and were are my real parents?" I
asked.
"Their work is very important, and dangerous. They gave you
to Cathy and Dave." she said.
"What was their job?" I whispered.
I grabbed for Trevor's hand. My grandma wasn't making eye
contact with either of us. She looked down at the table when she
finally said it.
"Assassins. Very important ones at that." she said.
"Oh, my God." I whispered.
I felt confused and nervous. I put my head in my hands and I
wanted to cry. I felt Trevor rubbing my back and he put his other
hand on my knee.
"Who are you anyway?" Grandma asks to Trevor.
"I'm Trevor Black. I'm her boyfriend." he
said.
"How could they
be assassins?" I asked.
"Honestly honey, I don't know how all I knew is that
they were." she said.
Trevor's POV
We went to
Olivia's grandparents' house and we found out that they
are actually assassins. They were very important too.
"What do we do if they try and take us again?" I
ask.
"They've took you before?" She asked.
We nod and she walked out of the kitchen and she grabbed a box.
She opened it to revel two train tickets. She also got an
oversized lunch box full with food.
"The train tickets go to Arizona and you'll meet Gary
and Kim Nickels. They will give you more information and another
train ticket." she said.
"What if they are on the train too?" I asked.
"Stay in your room no matter what." her Grandma
said. "Olivia, you might want this."
She handed Olivia a diamond cross necklace. I saw Olivia's
eyes water and she sniffled.
"This was your real mother's necklace." her grandma
said.
"Thank you, Grandma." she said.
"You better get going. Train leaves at six and it's
five-twenty." her grandma said.
I nod and grabbed the cooler and tickets. We walked out and we
hopped into the car. She started crying as I put the necklace on
her.
"Sh. Shh. It's okay." I say.
"Can we go now?" she asks impatiently.
"Yeah. We can." I say.
I started the car and drove off to the train station. A couple of
minutes before six we got there.
"What train number are we?" she asked.
"Number fifty-four." I said.
I saw Fifty-two, fifty-three, and then fifty-four. I let Olivia
go on first and then we went in. We gave the conductor our
tickets and he led us to our room. I put the bag down and then
looked around. There really wasn't much at all. A small
couch, a table, two chairs and a TV that looked broken. She sat
down on the couch and looked out the window. We finally started
to go, Olivia looked like she was going to cry.
"Do you think I can call, Lexi and tell her not to
come?" she asked.
"She was going to come? To California?" I asked.
"Yeah at the end of the school year." She mumbled.
"Sure. I would think that would be okay." I said.
She reached at her side but she still had a cover-up on.
"I left it at home.." she mumbled.
I reached into my pocket and grabbed mine. I checked the battery
and it was almost out. I could give this to her or I could use
the last minutes of my phone to call my parents.
"Here.. Use mine." I said tossing it to her.
"Thank you so much." she said.
I nodded while she typed in Lexi's number. Seconds passed
before she said something.
"Lexi, its me Olivia. If you get this I just want to tell
you not to go up to Cali because I'm not up there anymore.
Cathy got transferred and this might be one of the only times I
get to talk to you.." she started to cry. "And if
anything happens to me I just want you to know that I love and
miss you so, so much. Tell Jacob I said hi. Well...
Goodbye."
She got up and hugged me tight. She was crying on my shirt, and I
tried to comfort her but she just kept crying. This really sucks
and I hope that its over soon.
