Chapter 42

Laura’s POV:
I knew since I was famous now, I had to dress like it.  I headed to the mall, where I bought a complete new wardrobe. I originally was set on buying three new pairs of heels, but that number turned to fourteen very quickly. I went to Topshop, where I indulged in three hours of shopping, shopping and more shopping. Seven thousand, five hundred and thirty four dollars/euro’s later I had completely changed my entire wardrobe. Since I was famous now, I couldn’t carry my bags myself, so I had seven guys carry my stuff to my new convertible. I only rented it for the week, but in the next few days, I will definitely be on the cover of a magazine and get enough money to afford an actual car. After all my stuff was placed in the back of my car, I got in and put the hood down. The paparazzi were taking pictures of me, but instead of calling me hot, they were yelling that I was a manipulative liar.  What?! Why do they think I am a liar? I drove off quickly and as soon as I was on the highway, I turned the radio on.

What?! This can’t be happening. I’m supposed to be famous ofr being the hot girlfriend of Louis Tomlinson, not for being a “liar”. I’m done.
 
Kylie’s POV:
After our “celebration”, Zayn and I were lying together in his bed, covered in nothing but the sheets. We were both tired, so we decided to take a nap before heading back to the hospital. This is the first time in three days that we were able to actually sleep in a bed, and not the waiting room chairs. It was nice just being here with Zayn and no one else. I love Zayn. We are never going to break up. I want to marry him someday. He is the man of my dreams. I turn to look at him. He opens his eyes and gives me that look that he does with his eyes when he is tired. He smiles, then grabs me and pulls me close to him. We fall asleep together in his arms.
 
Louis’ POV:
It has been three hours since we got the news that Duranka should be waking up soon. I am getting very anxious, since it has been over a week and she still hasn’t woken up. I am sitting by her bedside, rubbing her head and holding her hand. After a few minutes, I feel Duranka squeeze my hand. I am so excited, so I go to get the doctor. She comes in and when we go to her again, her eyes are open. I can’t stop smiling. She’s awake, and that’s all that matters.

Liam’s POV:
I woke up in the waiting room with Dani. She was still sleeping, so I put my jacket on top of her and got up to let her sleep. Julie and Harry were sleeping on the other bench. I decided to go to the food court and grab some food for everybody. I walked into the cafeteria and saw Zayn, Kylie, Niall and Brooke. I grabbed some cereal and walked over to their table. Zayn had his laptop out and everybody was reading it and shocked. I came over and read it too:

LOUIS TOMLINSON WITH HIS NEW GIRLFRIEND

What?! Louis is in love with Duranka, but a picture doesn’t lie. I am so confused. “Should we tell Louis?” I said, looking over to Brooke, who looked a little mad. “What’s wrong Brooke?” I said.

“Well, Laura has been in love with Louis for as long as I’ve known her. I think this was a set up.” We all thought about it, and realized that Louis wouldn’t do this to Duranka, especially now. Dani came down mad as well. She saw the news and said that she thought it was a set up too. We need to fix this before Louis find out, and before Duranka wakes up.

 
Julie’s POV:
I woke up by Dani tapping me. I was cuddling with Harry, so I was a little annoyed. “What!?” I said.
“We need to find the boys, now. Come with me, leave Harry here to sleep.” I got up, a little concerned. Dani showed me the news. What the hell?! This had to be a set up. I looked into Duranka’s room and saw Louis cuddled with her. This can’t be true.
Dani went to the cafeteria to talk to everybody, while I went to get Harry. We need to fix this now. I told Harry and he got really angry. I told him not to tell Laura, since we have a plan. Dani went to go tell them which Harry went to call Simon and let him know what to do. I went to go to the cafeteria, when I saw Laura outside talking to a guy and flirting. What a joke. Harry came up behind me and kissed me on the neck.  He turned me around and told me that Simon did what we wanted him to. “Now, let’s go eat!”

Chapter 39
 
Louis’ POV:
As soon as Laura kissed me, I pulled away quickly. What was she doing?! She knows I am in love with Duranka. Who the hell does she think she is?! I immediately got up and start running. I couldn’t stay with Laura anymore. I thought she was my friend, but I guess I was wrong. I need to go to Duranka. I need to be with her. I run as fast as I can to the hospital entrance. Thank god it was dark, so that the paparazzi didn’t know where to find me. Unfortunately, I saw them waiting in the hospital lobby, so I walked past the hospital and into a store. It was the only place I could think to go on the spot. I walked in and thankfully the store sold hats and sunglasses and other stuff that I could use to disguise myself. I bought a black hat, dark blue sunglasses and a gray sweatshirt that had a cat on it. I’ll give it to Harry later.
I paid for my stuff and walked out of the store. With my disguise on, I walked slowly towards the hospital. Thankfully no one recognized me, so I was able to safely make it to the elevator. I got to the seventh floor, Duranka’s floor, and walked to her room. She was still asleep; so peaceful, so calm. I kissed her forehead and sat in the chair next to her bed, holding her hand, and falling asleep.
 
Laura’s POV:
I can’t believe Louis ran off like that. I thought that we had a connection, but I guess he still loves Duranka. Stupid Duranka; why do you have to be so pretty and perfect? It’s not fair. Before you started hanging out with Louis, he liked me. He loved me actually. We were going to get married (Okay, not really, but I wanted to.) But then you had to show up and ruin everything. This is a sign that Louis and Duranka can’t be together. They haven’t even had one happy day since they became a couple. Louis would be so happy with me. We would live in a small cabin in the middle of the woods, with our beautiful kids. But no, now you’re here. You better watch out Duranka, because Louis is mine, always has been, and always will be.
Thankfully, I orchestrated this plan so that Duranka and Louis would be no more. After Louis left, I turned around and told Tyler to get out of the bushed. He came out and told me he got the photo. You see, when Louis and I kissed, Tyler got a picture of it. Tyler works for a very popular magazine, and said that by tomorrow, this photo would be all over every website, TV screen and magazine. The truth is, all I want is Louis and fame.  So far, everything is working out good. Louis will be mine by tomorrow, and I will be the hot famous girlfriend. You’ll see.

Chapter 38

Louis' POV:
I have been sitting in the hospital room with Duranka for two days now. I can't leave her side. The doctors keep saying that it is going to take time for her to wake up, but I can't wait. I can't bare to look at my girlfriend like this. Although she looks peaceful, the fact that she can't wake up is killing me inside. Julie and Harry keep trying to get me to go back to the hotel and eat something, but I can't leave Duranka alone. I can't leave her side. I can't.

Harry's POV:
After the phone call with Simon the other day (He yelled at me about keeping a good image for the band) I called Zayn and told him about what happened. Everyone is coming to New York now to be with us, and to make sure Duranka is okay. Julie and I got into a taxi and went to the airport. When we got there, so many paparazzi's were waiting for us. Great. It's all their fault that we are stuck in this situation and they still won't leave us alone. Julie ran inside because we thought the paparazzi wouldn't want to take pictures with her, but we were wrong. They hounded her, but she managed to get away from them. She ran to everybody and told them to hurry up. They all got into the cab, which was big enough for everybody.  They got their stuff in the taxi and we were on our way.
"How is she?" Liam asked.
Julie sighed. "She still hasn't woken up."
"How could this have happened?!" Laura said, in between sobs. All the girls were crying. Kylie, Brooke and Sophie were also crying. Julie tried to stay stong, but I could tell that she was dying inside. I put my arm around her, and she fell asleep with tears in her eyes.

Laura's POV:
Not to be mean, but I'm glad that this is happening. All along I've wanted to be with Louis, and this is a sign that our love is true. The universe wants us to be together. Louis' a guy, so at some point he's going to need a girl to do things with, which wil be me. Sorry Duranka, but your time is up.
It's funny how I have to pretend to cry so that the others think I actually care. When Liam told us what was happening while we were in London, I couldn't help but smile. I have been away from Louis for two weeks, and I need him back. I will get him back, and make sure that when and if Duranka wakes up, he will be mine.

Kylie's POV:
We have been in the taxi for two hours. The traffic in New York is insane. I decided that I was going to take a nap, so Zayn let me rest my head on his legs. As I was resting, he was rubbing my head. I am so lucky to have Zayn as a boyfriend.
I open my eyes and look over at Laura. She is comforting the others, but keeps being sarcastic and rolling her eyes at the other girls. I hope she's not up to something.

Louis' POV:
Please wake up my love, please wake up. I can't stop crying. I need Duranka to wake up. I need her to be apart of my life again. I need to tell me she loves me. I need to hold her tight and love her forever. Please Duranka, please wake up.
After a while, everyone walks inside the hospital. They all come over to Duranka and I and start crying. I need some air. I get up and leave the room. I can hear someone following me, but I don't want them too. I start to run. I reach a bench outside the hospital. It is nightime so no one knows it's me. I sit down and start to cry heavily. I need Duranka.
"Louis, please don't cry." I look up to see Laura. I haven't seen her in ages. She looks more beautiful than I remembered. She sits down next to me and starts rubbing my back. I lean on her shoulder and close my eyes.
"My life is over, Laura."
"No it's not Lou, your life is just begining." When she says this, she lifts my head and kisses me. I don't stop her.

Chapter 37

Duranka's POV:
We finally made it to the airport. Yet again, we were hounded by paparazzi and screaming fans, but no one was giving Julie an attitude. Instead, all of the older men were yelling at Harry telling him that it was "innapropriate to yell and harrass young girls." This doesn't make any sense. Harry wasn't harrassing anybody. He was just telling the girls to stop being rude to Julie. I had to do something about this.

"He wasn't harassing anybody! The girls were being rude and abusive to Julie, Harry's girlfriend. He was just sticking up for his girl, thats all." I wasn't even able to take a breath when all of the sudden, the old men were starting to harrass me.
They were screaming at me, telling me that I shouldn't talk and that I shouldn't have said anything. Then, they started attacking me. I got hit in the head by one of them, and tackled by another. Louis and Harry started punching the guys and trying to get them off of me, but it was too late. I was knocked out.


Louis' POV:
I can't believe those guys! Why the hell would they even think of laying a hand on my girl? My first instinct was to start punching them all. I couldn't dare see Duranka like this. I saw her eyes close slowly. I stopped attacking the guys and ran over to her side. She was out. I picked her up and ran. I don't know where we were going, but we needed to get out of there. The fans were running after us, but I managed to find the bathroom and I ran inside. Thankfully, it was a boys bathroom, so they weren't allowed inside. I placed Duranka down on the floor and started to cry. I didn't know what to do. I was in panick mood. I called the police and they came within minutes to the bathroom. Harry and Julie came to get me, and we all went to the hospital to see Duranka.

We have been at the hospital for about three hours. Duranka still hasn't woken up, and I am starting to get worried. What if she never wakes up?! Stop thinking like that Louis! She is going to wake up.
As I sit by her bedside, I watch every breath she takes. She looks so peaceful, other    than the bruises on her face from that guy who hit her.  Duranka,  Please wake up.        I love you.


Harry's POV:
Julie and I are sitting in the wiaiting room. It feels like we are always at the hospital. First, it was Sophie having her miscarriage, and now this? Seems like we need to be a little safer when it comes to our everyday lives.
I held Julie and she fell asleep in my arms. She is so beautiful when she sleeps. After a while of us both sleeping, I got a call on my cell. It was Simon. "Hello?"
"HARRY,  WHAT THE BLOODY HELL IS GOING ON?!?!"
