What if every 11:11, birthday, and shooting star wish came true?

My temple run stopped. Geeze! I said, silently to myself. Almost 3 million.
Every night at this time, a reminder pops on my phone's screen, reminding
me it's that time. 11:10. In one minute, I could make one wish. Only twice
a day do I have a chance to change the world, make the boy like me.. Or so
I tell myself. Ever since I was 5, 9 years ago, I've been making wishes and
none of them have ever come true. A little part of me believes I have a 
chance. 11:11 the little clock says on my lock screen. Okay. I wish he would
love me. I smile to myself, lay down in my bed, and fall in a deep sleep.

My alarm beeps. 6 am. 1 hour to make myself look attractive. One hour
to make myself look attractive, for him. I wash my hair, dry it, then quick
curl it. It doesn't take much to make my light red hair look good. It's my 
face I have a problem with. No coverup hides my freckles. I put sparkly 
pink eyeshadow on to match the pink skirt I'm going to wear. I do my top
eyeliner, then mascara, and go to get dressed. 45 minutes later, I'm done.
I grab a cinnabon and run out the door. He is at my bus stop.  Issaya. 
The single most amazing boy in the world. He has black curls, light blue
eyes, and a swimmer's body. Because he is a swimmer. It just so happens
Issaya happens to be my bestfriend. Who has a girl friend. His eyes light
up when I come into his view. 
" Kaylan!" He says with a big smile. 
I rush over to him. As I usually do, I check his finger. To check if the ring
she gave him was on it. It wasn't..
" Issaya?" I said.
" We're done.. Me and her" he says, without a look of pain.
" Why?" I ask.
" Because I love someone else..."
I don't say anything else, but my mind asks. Who? As if he can read it,
he talks again. " You Kaylan. I love you."
