I didn't
really get a good look.
He was quick, &
steady. His paces were triple as big as mine were: while I
was running, he looked like he was speed walking. He had a
red cape, & a blue jumpsuit. He had dark black waves
that fell upon his eyes, right above his ears. He
didn't stop, not even after he found out I was
following him. I was getting tired using up the air that
seemed to leave my mouth quicker than it entered. We were
entering the forest now, it was darker than usual today. I
sighed, & tried to keep along with his sudden fast
movement. This time he started running for real, which was
faster than I could ever move. I stopped in my tracks, as
the realization of me meeting him were 0 to none. He was
gone, nowhere in sight. I lost him in a matter of 5
seconds. I slowly turned back around, paranoia slowly crept
around the tense air. What was I doing, going in so deep at
3 in the morning? Following a stranger, nonetheless. A
chilly wind easily surpressed through my thin cardigan.
Baby steps, my eyes peeled, darting back & forth beyond
the trees in front of me.The sound of leaves crunching
turned my attention to the ground underneath me, when I saw
that I hadn't been stepping on leaves. God,
it's probably some animals walking around Lola, stop
being so paranoid, I thought to myself. I eyed my
shoes, & picked up my pace. Soon enough, I was almost
out of there when I felt someone behind me. I didn't
dare to look back, even when I felt a hot breath in my ear,
crawling down my neck. "Don't tell anyone,"
He whispered quietly. Then, I heard him swing off into the
trees, & even after he was gone, I still didn't
look back.
