we haven't talked in a very long time.
today i wished you a happy birthday.
we then started talking again just like we used to.
as if we were going out.
you then texted me saying:
"you just made my birthday wish come true"

We liked each other beyond belief.
You got a girlfriend out of nowhere once we stopped talking.
I was heartbroken.
Your girlfriend broke up with you two months ago.
I wished you a happy birthday today and we started talking for a long time.
All of the feelings are rushing back and we are hanging out tomorrow.

It feels amazing to have this second chance.

You have been going out with your new girlfriend for a year now.
You two are insanely in love,
It kills me to see you two in the hallway kissing each other,
Because that used to be me.

Today, we went on a field trip and you were sitting behind me on the bus.
