I NEED GUY HELP!!

Ok so theres this guy that i like alot. we're friends and text and talk and he gives me a hug everyday. Over the summer he told me he liked me and i liked him to so we texted eachother and talked and acted like a couple but never actually went out because he liked someone to. Then we got into a fight and stoped talking. I moved on and went out with someone else but now we're broken up and the guy i like is now going out with the other girl. So im here and i have the biggest crush on him and he's with his girlfriend. No one really likes his girlfriend and says that i would be better for him. She's in the 8th grade and we're in 9th grade. They dont really see eachother just text eachother and hang out sometimes. He said that he can't say he has no feelings for me. He thinks im pretty and still kinda likes me. My friends say i should try and steal him away from his girlfriend. I find that kinda mean but i want to. Everyone thinks we should be together but he doesnt see that. What should i do? should i get him back? and how?
