Story
Hi guys! My name's Alina. I have this huge problem, and I'm not really sure what to do..so I need your help. The summer of 7th grade, going into 8th grade, I went to a vacation bible school. I met this guy there and we started to like eachother...but he also liked my cousin, who's my bestfriend. I tell her just about everything and anything. Later on, I found out he was going to ask me out...but for some reason, I chickened out and told my cousin (we'll just say her names Natalie) to tell the guy (luke) not to ask me out. He eventually got over me, but he still liked Natalie. The only problem was, I wasn't over him. Me and Natalie see Luke once a week, every other week. As the year went on, I developed feelings for him...feelings I never knew existed. I finally got the courage to tell him how I felt. However, he rejected me and told me he didn't think of me as anything more than a friend and that he was in love with Natalie. But natalie didn't like him...she didn't want to tell him that because she didn't want to hurt his feelings. I got over him and all those feelings went away, or so I thought. I started dating other people but every relationship I've had ever since that summer has only lasted a week. A few weeks ago, I started dating this guy ( Alex). Natalie was convinced that I didn't love Alex and that I was still in love with Luke. But I didn't want to believe it, because if I did...I would just end up getting hurt. But what natalie told me that one day got to me. I started thinking about it a lot and I found myself thinking about Luke more than I thought about my own boyfriend. I hated this, so I deleted luke's number from my phone, and I unfriended him on facebook. Alex and I broke up the week after Natalie had talked to me. I have to see luke this week.. I don't know what I'm supposed to do or say to him.
Please help me.
