An Innocent Drive
Just went for a drive on a warm summer day,
They thought everything would be okay.
With the smiles and giggles and tears of joy,
Who could stop this wonderful convoy.
As they were traveling so fast down the hill,
The car started swirving it was a thrill.
Still focusing on going faster,
Not hoping for a little disaster.
They looked back and saw that they hit a hole,
One hit, headfirst, into the console.
Laughter stopping and screams about,
You would think there would be such a shout.
Thoughts of memories ran through their heads,
Prayers of being safe not wanting their deathbeds.
So quickly everything just blacked out,
What was going on about?
All of a sudden sirens filled the air,
This was all such a scare.
All the good times they wanted to spend,
They couldnt for life was about to end.
People were all around,
As the pain ran up and down.
A mother came with such dispair,
So terrified inside, wanting to rip out her hair.
Tears quickly running down her cheeks,
Soon everyones parents came with schrieks.
They were all so somber, angry inside,
With doctors around at their side.
Not believing the horrible news,
Each one grabbing tissues.
Their sons and daughters had just died,
Of an unexpecting wonderful car ride.
