six
looking upwards i strain my eyes and try
to tell the difference between shooting
stars and satellites. "do they collide?"
i ask you and smile, with my feet on the
dash. the world just doesn't matter.
three
empty fields move me so much more than
rooms filled up with friends. the way the
trees look dead reminds me that there's so
much more to life than living. maybe giving
up isn't bad, but part of letting go.
