It's like now that I've started to get over you I've started to let those memories come back. I've started to examine all of those things I kept at bay for so long because I knew it would just hurt to remember again. But now, now, I've started to remember. I've let myself see you're face that night as you shyly grasped my hand for the first time. I remember how tightly you held me and the way you're voice broke with nervousness as you asked me the question I'd been waiting to hear. I remember how you kept smiling down at our interlocked fingers. To me, it was something I hoped would never end, but it did in fact. All too soon....
