Carter winked at Emily as they walked down the halls.
Lately, he had been
flirting with her like
crazy. She caught him staring at her in class. Whenever she
made a *stupid* joke, he'd
laugh. Emily had loved him since the moment she saw him, and
had been hoping he'd love her back a second after she fell
in love with him. Everytime something hapened with him,
even a glance, she'd tell
her best friend Erika.
Erika knew Emily was madly in love with Carter. One day during science, Erika
and Carter started passing notes. Erika was blushing most of
the time, which made Emily curious, but she knew Erika didn't
like Carter. When it was time to leave, Emily picked up the
note they had accidentally
left behind and unfolded it. Will you go out
with me? was scribbled in Carter's black
messy hanwriting. Emily was
upset, but at least she knew her friend would stick by her. She
began to crinkle it up to throw away so she's never have to
read it again when she noticed Erika's pink rounded writing.
Emily flipped it over onto the back; Definately. And just like that, her entire
world came
