The little girl and little boy sat under a blossom tree,
holding hands.
"I'll love you forever!" The girl said.
"Then you'll wait for me until I get back," the boy
replied.
"I will," said the girl. He got up and left, leaving her
sitting alone. Years went by, and the girl turned into a pre-teen,
wanting to grow up but not quite there yet. She sat under the
blossom tree with the boy, holding hands with him.
"I'll love you forever!" The girl said.
"Then you'll wait for me until I get back," the boy
replied.
"I will," said the girl. He got up and left her sitting
alone. Years went by and the girl and boy were going to leave for
college soon. They sat under the blossom tree, holding hands.
"I'll love you forever!" The girl said.
"Then you'll wait for me until I get back," the boy
replied.
"I will," said the girl. He got up and left her sitting
alone. Years went by and the two were entering their
thirties. The girl and boy reunited under the cherry tree and
held hands, feeling younger by the minute.
"I'll love you forever!" The girl said, hoping for him to
propose.
"If you love me then you'll wait for me until I come
back," the man replied.
"I will..." the girl said, feeling like this had happened
before. So the man walked away from her, sitting alone under the
blossom tree. Years passes and the man turned 65. He came back to
the blossom tree and waited and waited, but the girl never came.
Finally, he found a note on the other side of the tree. It
said,
"I wasted my life waiting and waiting for you. Now you will
finally know how it feels to be taken for granted, or maybe you'll
finally realize how I feel. Thank you for making my young years
sweet and memorable but I am a woman now and It's time for to say
goodbye, because I am not waiting for love anymore." The man
let the letter drop from his hands and realized he had made a huge
mistake. That girl loved him, and he wasted her beautiful heart,
and now she was gone, and he was the one left waiting...
