Chapter 2 ; Part 2
“Great, he recorded a lot of amazing music. He invited me
in to sing to goof around, he even wrote a song and asked me to
record it with him. He told me I was more interesting to him then
music was. I‘ve never felt this feeling, Mama. Its like
I‘m crazy to see him, I feel like crying when I leave him,
but then he texts me and I smile the rest of the day. What is
it?”
“It‘s love.” her mother simply answered.
“I‘m fourteen, I can‘t love that fast, is it
even possible to love someone you‘ve only dated for at most
a week?”
“It might be a world record.”
“Its weird how you‘re so easy with me being out this
late with him.”
“It‘s love.”
“You think I really love him?”
“I think he loves you too much to hurt you in any
way.”
“Really?”
“You guys remind me of Danny, and it breaks but mends my
heart. You two are so amazing together.”
“Thanks, Mommy.” she walked upstairs and got ready
for bed.
The next morning, Justin was in Olivia’s living room, it
was about 11:30.
“Hey Jus,” Olivia yawned, rubbing her eyes, and
pulling his sweatshirt on, “what are you doing here so
early?”
He got up, “One, its eleven thirty, and two, your mom
invited me over to spend the day and get to know your
family.” he wrapped his arms around her waist and kissed
her good morning.
“Where is my family?”
“They went out to Toys R Us for your sister.”
“When did they leave?”
“Two minutes ago.”
“Hang down here for a little, I want you to do something
with me upstairs in a little.”
He sat back down to watch TV.
She ran upstairs to put on jeans and a top, fix her hair, and put
on makeup.
“Justin!” Olivia yelled from her room.
He got up, turned off the TV, and went to her room.
