I came out of the bathroom in the bikini.
"That looks good on you. I mean damn you got like a six pack ." Aubrey said.
"Haha Shut up its from sports and stuff. and Aub? This would probably fit Taylor. " I said. The bikini was a bit showy and the sixpack isnt that muscular.
"Alright fine. Try this one then Charles and your abs aren't that noticible anyways. " She said throwing another bikini at me. I kinda liked it when she called me Charles. Charles was my dads name. My mom wanted to name me after him so she named me Charli which was close enough. I went into the bathroom put it on. This one fit much better. I went out and Aubrey was wearing a bathingsuit too.
"So was it that obvious I liked Todd?" Aubrey asked.
"No not really. I could just tell there was something there between you two. Ya know what I mean?"I said to her.
"Oh yeah.Sounds like someone else I know."She said eyeing me "looks like were in the same boat." She added.
"Huh?" I asked.
"You and Brett? Oh nevermind" she said. She always brings up Brett. What'd she even mean by me and Brett?
After we were done, we went downstairs and then outside by the pool.We were dipping our feet in the pool when the guys came out and pushed us in. We al just hung out. We were having a volleyball tournament. Aubrey and I on a team and Brett and Todd on the other. Aubrey and I endedup winning. We did make the volleyball team after all. Aubrey and Brett had left around 9:00 since we had school the next day. I went upstairs did some homework and took a shower. I laid out on the roof looking at the stars afterwards. Todd came out within 5 minutes and laid next to me.
"So how long did you know Aubrey and I liked eachother?" He asked.
"First day I met her. You guys would just like stare at eachother and not even realize it. No one else would either. You also did like whatever she said. She did whatever you said. And it was just little things to like the way you talked or smiled at eachother and stuff."I replied.
"Yeah. She's really nice and funny, and beautiful."he said.
"Aww you called her beautiful!"I said to him.
"Yeah."He said shyly. "You know? I think you and Brett would be a good couple" He added.
"Why does everyone say that? Besides I'm with Carter." I said.
"Well who else says it?"He asked.
"Well Aubrey tells me like Daily and Travis had mentioned it once or twice. " I replied.
"Oh. Speaking of Travis, he told me what you were saying at lunch today. About the whole kissing thing? I agree with him. If theres no spark than theres probably no chemistry." He said.
"Yeah and Travis is a big mounth. But Brett was saying the whole spark thing is made up."I said.
"Since when do you care what Brett says anyways haha? Plus he hasn't even kissed a girl since like middle school. Sparks are real though. I got one when I kissed Aubrey." He said.
"Point." I replied simply. Everything he said was pretty much a good point. After a while we both went inside. I got my ipod and fell asleep.
