Kindergarten
When I was sitting there all alone,
and you walked up and ask, “Wanna be my best
friend?” I said, YES! In my little high pitched
voice.
Third grade
Today we promised best friends
forever. So far I have told you every little secret. I
even told you that my teddy has a girlfriend.
Sixth grade
A mean girl decides to pick on me today. So when they
told everyone a lie. You decided to get back by
punching them and getting a detention just for me.
Eleventh grade
Today after a boy decides to break my heart. Your right
their saying, “sweetie he wasn’t worth
it.” and being by my side til I feel asleep.
Eighteen
After our parties…
we secretly went to go get our first drink. You
didn’t get drunk. You were always one of those
goodies goodies. And took the keys and drove me home
safely down the road. We are in your car rocking to
music… on the way to a movie. And a truck drives
in our lane. You try to move the car, but you
didn’t. You got hit. I didn’t get hurt you
did. I called 911. And watched you drive away in the
ambulance.
In the hospital
I walk into your room. You’re so broken. You look
at me and say, it’s my time to go. You give me a
folded piece of paper. You look at me and say. I love
you. And you breathed your last.
Dear my best friend
I just wanted to say.
Thanks for being a great friend. I’m lucky I had
such an amazing person in my life.
You are truly a great friend
& I love you my best
friend.
