Hi, my name is Leah Merriss and i'm 15 years of age. life has been different for me, what i mean is my mom was lost my dad when i was 3 weeks old. He died from this from of MS called friedreich's ataxia which is a disorder where the iron in your slowly turns into this deadly poison and slowly kills you inside out. Anyways, i never meant my dad, my mom would always tell me stories about him and how they meet at this bar. My dad was a good person he had gone though a lot. After having heart failure 3 times and kidney failure 4 his body couldn't take it any more and he died on my mom and dad wedding anniversary. My mom dating when i was younger but gave up for a while. then she meet this guy named Bryce. My mom and Bryce dating for about 3 years then got married. Bryce is a rich lawyer who lives in Hilton Head, South Carolina with his kids Blake and Hailey, from his first wife Angie, they split up when Bryce found out that Angie was a drugie. Blake is my age, he has green eyes and shaggy brown-blonde hair, about 6'0 and could take me out in one punch. Haily is Bryce baby girl she is 3 years old and the cutest thing ever! She has light blonde hair always up in pig tails and big blue eyes that could get you to do anything. I'm happy for my mom and all but i really don't want to leave my home town of Columbus, Ohio, but i had no choses. Its not like my grandma would take me in. So its the begin of my summer break after freshman year and i have to move from Ohio to South Carolina! great just what i need to be the new girl again( me and mom moved around a lot when i was younger).
"Leah go finish unpacking, the back seat of the car with Blake, me and Bryce are going to go put Hailey down for a nap" my mom yelled as she walked in the house to my new life.
"come on Leah i can't carry everything by myself" Blake was telling me.
"I'm coming gimme a minute i can't find my phone" i called. I jumped out of the car after finding my phone.
" you take forever couldn't have you just called it" Blake said being very annoying.
"shut up and carry the boxes up to my room"
" Cant you help!" he said
"whatever Blake" as i walked inside with my last box of stuff, i couldn't believe it would never be just me and my mom every again. I ran up the stairs to my room and decides i should start unpacking everything.
"Leah dear"
"yeah mom!"
"Bryce and Hailey and i are going to the store and to get dinner, we will be back later. ok?"
" ok mom see you later" i watched them drive down the street. I started to unpack again. About 10 minutes later the door bell rang. i walked down and stairs and opened the door.

After
the last text I didn’t answer back. I ran to my closet and
got out a pair of white Abercrombie shorts and my favorite blue
Hollister shirt and my navy blue flats. I went to my bathroom and
brushed out my hair straightened in and applied my make-up. Just
enough for it to look natural, on my way downstairs I graded my
Coach glasses and purse.
“Good morning mom.” I said seeing my mom in the
kitchen cleaning dishes.
“Good morning sweetie.”
Just
then I heard running down the stairs, I turned around to see Brad
my older brother coming downstairs rubbing his eyes and sitting
down to eat breakfast.
“Sup sis?”
“Morning Brad,” I said with a smile.
“What got you smiling like an idiot?”
“Shut up Brad,” I said hitting the back of his head
playfully, “I’m waiting for my boyfriend to pick me
up for my last day of school.”
“Okay, whatever,” he said chuckling. Just then the
door bell rang.
“Bye guys. Love you!” I said running out the
door.
Somehow, Todd made it back to his car. I stood on my front porch
just staring at him leaning up against his silver hummer, and him
staring back at me. His beautiful muscles, his long shaggy blonde
hair, and its grey eyes. Oh God! How I love him. He stood up
straight and held his arms open, I ran into his arms and he
picked me up and spun me just like they do in the movies and he
put me back down and looked me in the eyes.
“God, I love you,” he said then he leaned down and
kissed me.
“I love you too,” I relied and kissed him again
passionately. Then I heard a honk…
