Chapter
35 - His Blue Eyes
Dale's
POV :
"What's going on?" Sammie asked.
I looked at her and coughed out the first thing I could think of,
"Everything's okay. You just have a concussion. You'll
remember me soon."
"Oh, okay, good," she said, smiling.
Oh, how I loved that smile.
I sat by Sam and put my hand on hers.
"I know you don't remember me right now, Sammie, but I
love you."
She looked at me and smiled a little. I smiled back.
"You seem like an amazing boyfriend."
"You're an amazing girlfriend. Trust me."
"Is there anything that might trigger my memory?" she
asked after a while.
I closed my eyes and thought.
"Maybe," I said, and got up quickly to grab
something.
Sam's POV
:
I wish I remembered Dale, because he seems amazing. While he left
the room, I couldn't help but do what all girls do when they
like a guy - fix my hair, check my breath, etc. I wanted it to be
perfect, whatever he was doing.
When he came back, he was holding a guitar. He sat by me and
started to play the song Two is Better Than One, by
Boyslikegirls. I raised my eyebrows.
He started to sing the lyrics.
After the chorus, I couldn't help but sing Taylor Swift's
part.
"I remember every look upon your face," I
sang.
"The way you roll your eyes, the way you taste. You make
it hard for breathing," he sang.
Suddenly, my head started swirling. My vision failed me and I fell
hard onto my mattress.
