So, What happens now?
part 35.
Bri and Kaylie walked in carrying two bags
each.
"Guys go help them.." I said they all got up and walked
out the back door.
"he say anything bout last night." Bri whispered.
"he forgets anything happened, i don't wanna bring it up
and start problems." i shrugged they both nodded and put
away the groceries they brought in.
"does it still hurt.." Bri asked
"more than yesterday." i said she nodded. They
continued putting the groceries away and then Jesse came running
in the back door crying.
"what's wrong babe.." i asked
"nothing.." he whined and ran in my room and closed the
door. I sighed. The guys finished up bringing everything in and
sat back down.
"what are we doing today.." Erik asked
"going home." Blake said
"sike" Erik laughed i rolled my eyes
"whatya mean sike?" Blake asked
"im not going home.." Erik said, Blake gave him a
confused look
"im staying here dumb-dumb." Blake said shaking his
head
"are you?" Blake asked Kaylie
"i don't know." she said
"that's a yes.." Blake sighed
"Blake.. you can too.. there isn't a law against living
here.." i said he rolled his eyes i walked to my room, i
walked in and sat next to Jesse and asked him what was wrong
again.
"Brian said he isn't allowed to play anymore.." he
cried.
"did he tell you why..." i asked stroking his hair
"no.." he whined
"go out back and play some soccer." i said he nodded
and hopped out of bed and ran out the door. I sighed and got up
and walked out the front door and down to Brian's house. He
was sitting out on the front lawn with a puss on his face while
he was playing with his trucks. I walked up to the screen door
and rang the bell. His mother came walking over.
"Hello?" she asked
"hi, Im Jesse's mom, id like to talk to you.." i
said she nodded and welcomed me in
"so, Jesse just came running home crying his eyes out and
told me that he isn't allowed to play with Brian
anymore.." i said confused
"yes.. that's right.." she nodded her husband came
up behind her and rested his elbows on the head of her chair
"id just like to know the reason.." i said she
nodded
"well. I don't like the idea of my son hanging around
with a son of a mother who had their child while in high
school." she said the husband looked down on her
confused.
"im not like most teenage mothers though, i work hard for my
son,i have to make ends meet by myself without even my parents
help." i said defending myself
"mmm.. and how do you think that started? one stupid
mistake. If you're stupid enough to make that mistake, who
knows what your child is capable of doing.." she said.
"fine, if you don't want to realize that im a
hardworking mother, go right ahead, but when i leave, i want you
to see that puss on your sons face, once im out of your sight, so
is my child, never call my house asking for them to have a play
date cause ill end that call so fast you wouldn't even be
able to hear me take one breathe." i said and walked out the
house and away back to mine. When i walked through the back door
only Dylan and Erik were in the kitchen i looked around
confused.
"Blake and Kaylie got into a huge fight, Kaylie's up in
the spare room, Bri is droppin mr. sour off at the airport."
Erik explained. Dylan made a kicking motion towards the backdoor.
Erik laughed i rolled my eyes
"where's Marc?" i asked
"workin.." Dylan said and looked out the back
window
"is he still out there.." i asked
"don't get scared." he warned. I instantly ran out
the back door.
"what did i say.." i heard him sigh angrily as i ran to
the back yard screaming for Jesse
"why weren't you paying attention." i asked Dylan
and Erik as they both made their way towards me.
"because we heard him out there the whole time." Erik
said Dylan dug in his pockets for his keys.
"ill be back." he said and jogged towards his car.
"go down the street and walk around, make sure hes not at
Brians.." i said
"where is that.." he asked
"big red house." i said looking round, Erik jogged away
i just kept looking everywhere he could be back here till i
finally just gave up and walked to the front and sat on the
stoop.
"hes in kindergarten.. where the hell could he have
gone.." Erik muttered to himself.
"you'll be surprised" i sighed leaning my head on
the iron railing and starring at the grass
"where the hell did Dylan go.." he asked
"who cares.." i sighed again. A car pulled up I looked
up at Bri's car and Kaylie walked out the front door.
"what's goin on.." Bri asked, Kaylie yawned and
walked out towards Erik who was on the sidewalk looking in every
direction totally confused.
"Jesse's lost.." Erik said looking around.
"where's Dylan.." Kaylie asked
"out driving.." Erik answered. Then Dylan's car
pulled up.
"no luck.. i reported it to the police.." Dylan said
walking out of his car.
"want to go inside and wait for the cops to show...
they'll be here any minute.." Dylan said. Bri and Kaylie
walking in the house.
"no.." i sighed. Erik walked past and in the house.
Dylan just starred at me.
"please just.... go inside.." i sighed. He nodded and
walked in. I just sat there losing my train of thought and stared
at a patch of grass. Soon enough the cops showed.
"miss." one of them said. I looked up.
"you file a missing persons add?" he asked.
"I did sir." Dylan said walking out. The two cops both
nodded and walked in the house. I looked down in my lap. Erik
walked out
"please please please come inside... It's getting
freezing out here..." he begged
"no." i said not looking at him. he sighed frustrated
and walked in. Later on more cops showed but they just walked
around outside and around the block, another set came with dogs
and they were sniffing all around everywhere.
Set by set, Cops started leaving. The only one's remaining
were the one's with the dogs.
"Allie.." Dylan said walking the front door.
"mm.." i mumbled
"its 11:30. You need sleep." Dylan said
"screw sleep." i said looking around. He sighed and put
a jacket on me.
"come inside later please.." he pleaded and turned the
outside light on then walked back in leaving the door open. I
sighed and continued looking around and watching every car that
passes the house regretting ever buying a corner
house.
