WALKING
Chapter

Allie's
POV
It's been three months, three months since I've been
dating Cole, since i barely talk to Noah. Since I can't
remember anything. I was lying in the couch at Cole's
house. I still had my job at the bar, and I still get memory
rushes. I am pretty much in love with Cole, but I feel like
something's missing. In between all my thinking, I fell
asleep.
I was standing by the side of the pond, Noah's arms
around me. "I love you..." Me riding horses,
Noah's kisses. "You're beautiful..." "I
love you too."
I woke up startled, tears falling from my eyes heavily. I
looked at the engagement ring in my hand. It had been about a
week since Cole proposed, maybe it was too soon but I was in
love with him. Was. Not anymore. I got up from the couch and
ran towards Noah's house. I ran as fast as I could, because
I was tired of living my life walking. Waiting for things to
happen instead of making them happen. I was tired of it all. I
got there, breathless. I found Noah in the kithchen, looking at
a picture. I recognized it, as the only picture he had of us.
It was him, with his arm wrapped around my neck. I was smiling
and he was kissing my cheek. Another thousand memories came to
my head, and I almost fainted. But between gasps, he looked at
me, vaguely. "Noah," I said, out of air. "Noah,
I remember."
