and I started chatting for awhile. All i knew so far was
that he was a junior and on the baseball team.
"I am not a big fan of baseball, I prefer soccer."
I replied to him. He typed back immediately "I
don't understand soccer to well. I'll figure it out
sometime." We continued talking for awhile. I looked over at
the clock seeing it was nearly midnight. I had to get up early to
be a referee at little kids soccer games. Reluctantly, i told
Lucas i had to go. He gave me his number and I gave him mine. The
next morning I woke up to my alarm. I walked down to the soccer
field near by to ref. After i was done with a game I sat down and
started getting my stuff together to leave. I felt a tap on my
shoulder. I turned around and say a guy a few years older looking
at me. He asked me to explain soccer to him. I gave him a quick
review f the game. He pulled out his phone and sent a quick text.
My phone buzzed in my pocket. I pulled it out and I had a text
from Lucas it read "Hey Em I just learned
soccer." I put my phone down and looked at the guy
and said "Lucas?"
