“So, he just left?” Megan asked,
shoving a handful of popcorn in her
mouth.
I nodded. “Yeah, put it was kind
of my fault.” I said, grabbing some
popcorn.
She shrugged. “Whatever,
wanna go
to the mall?”
I turned to look at the clock. It was
11 o’clock. “Sure, why
not?”
I struggled to get up, but I managed. I
didn’t really feel like getting all dressed up, so I just
brushed my hair out and put it in a ponytail. I was wearing
sweats and a hoodie, so I just slipped on my
uggs and we
left.
“Where do you want to go first?”
I asked as we walked in.
“How about American Eagle? We
haven’t gone in there for a while.” Megan
suggested.
“Mommy, pick me up!” Bentley
demanded.
“No, baby, you can walk. Mommy
can’t carry you anymore. At least not for a
while.” I replied.
“Mommy!” he
begged.
“I’ll carry you,
Bentley.” Megan
offered.
He held his arms up to
her.
“Thank you, Megan.”
“No problem. That’s why I’m
here.” She smiled.
We started walking toward American eagle,
when we saw our friend Adrian with some
guy.
“Hey, there’s
Adrian.” Megan said.
We walked over towards
them.
Megan and Adrian had a thing, but never got
very serious.
And I think Megan had her eye on his friend
anyway.
