If right now you want to kill
yourself,
i
promise you in 10 years from now you will be glad you
didn't
these things will pass
you are:
-strong enough.
- thin enough.
-pretty enough.
-good enough.
-PERFECT enough.
just the way you are.
don't let anyone tell you diffrent. Not even
yourself.
and if you haven't been told today...
i love
you.
Believe me: things
will get better.

Letting Him Go
Chapter
8
I woke up, with my head on something hard. I
sat up and looked around groggily. My head had been resting
on Kyle's legs as he was reading a book.
"Kyle, what are you doing?" i asked as he continued
to stare at the book.
He lifted it up to show me the title. The Hunger
Games.
"Why didn't you wake me up?"
"You needed to sleep," he replied, finally putting
a thumb on the page he was at and closing it.
"How long have you been here?" i looked at my clock
and noticed that i had been asleep for three hours. "You
didn't have to stay."
"I wanted to." I rolled my eyes at him.
"Alright. Well, maybe you should get home."
"You don't want me here?" he asked innocently
and i giggled.
"I'm still a little sick. i don't want to make
you sick too."
"Alright, well, take care. Bye," he said as i
showed him to the front door.
When he finally left, i went back to my room and lay down on
my bed.
What a horrible day. I almost threw up in front of my
whole class. How embarrassing. I wish Adam was here. Oh well,
only nine days left.
The next day i didn't go to school because my stomach was
still feeling upset. Mid-afternoon, once school was over,
Kyle came over.
"Hey, what are you doing here?" I asked as i opened
the door to him hunching over his his hands in his
pockets.
"Just checking up on you. How are you?"
"Feeling better. I'll be at school tomorrow," i
said to him.
"That's great."
"Yea." We stood in awkward silence, not knowing
what else to say.
"Well," Kyle finally said as he ran a hand through
his hair, "I was wondering if i could borrow that book i
was reading yesterday. The Hunger Games.
It's really good."
"Yea, it is. I really like it. Hold up while i go get
it." I quickly went upstairs and came down with it.
"Enjoy."
"I bet i will. Thanks," Kyle said and he parted
again.
