Self-harm challenge
1. When did you start self-harming? Why did you do
it?
I have
been self harming since 6th grade. I would stop then start
again. At first I did it beacuse I thought no one would notice
because no one paied any attention to
me.

What part of your body is most affected by
it?
My
hips.
3. What is your motivation to
recover?
I don't really have
one.
4. Do you consider yourself “addicted”? why or why
not?
I guess I am, It just seems to
help me.
5. What part of self harm do you dislike the most?
The scras.
6. What about it do you enjoy?
The feeling that I get when I
do it. Like how it is when I can't breath, if I do it. I can
breath again.
7. list 10 activities that help you calm down.
Video games, reading, writing, witty, drawing. Thats about
it...
8. What the most supportive thing anyone has said to you about
self harm? If you do it I don't care,
I'll still love you eathier way. (Turned out to be a
lie)
9. Have you ever taken pictures of your wounds? Discuss.
I have never taken a picture
of them. I don't think I want to.
10. How do you feel about your scars?
Well I know they make me who I am and all.
But I want to hide them so no one will know. It feels weird when I
trace over them.
11. Strangest place (school, park, etc) you’ve ever injured
yourself?
School. During
class.
12. Where do you keep your ‘tools’? (Your room, in a
box, disposed of them?) Bathroom cabnit.
13. What is the biggest realization about self harm you’ve
had?
People do care. They try to
stop me but I can't help it.
14. Is there anyone you consider to be an inspiration in your
recovery? Tim, but
it hasn't really helped. I still do it.
15. Do you visit any websites about self harm? If so, what are
they?
Not really. My family might
find out.
16. What advice would you give to someone about self harm?
Try to stop now before your
thin cuts get deeper and deeper. Then it will be to
late.
17. Do you know anyone else who injures themselves?
Yes, but she can stop
herself...
18. Write a letter to the future (recovered) you.
Dear Me, If you have recovered
and didn't kill yourself. You made it, I hope your happy now. I
wish I was now. I hope that you can be free to love someone who
loves you back and that truly cares. Remember, love
yourself.
19. List 3 reasons that recovery is worth it.
Better life, happieness,
freedom.
20. What is the most vivid memory you have of self harm.
The first time I did it. I did
it in front of my best friend she helped me hide it.
21. Have you tried to stop in the past? What are you doing
differently this time?
I have tried. This time I keep
to myself more, or let people try to help me. Doesn't matter to
me. I'll stay the same.
22. Where do you feel the most calm?
A place where I can't go,
out lands, green and full of flowers.
23. What is your favorite inspirational quote?
'you may feel
WORTHLESS to one person, but you are PRICELESS to another,
don't ever forget yor value.
24. What are some of your main triggers? Why?
Drama, sad people, depressing
things, my anger.
25. Do you know any statistics about self harm?
Not really...
26. What is something that makes you the most happy?
Being alone? Great
drawings, happy people.

I havn't made and GOOD
progress, but the cuts have been getting deeper.
28. What short-term goals do you have?
Doing better in school next
year. Beach.

No, yet again my family would
fine out.
