the comments and saw there were a lot of people who are 16 and
17 who only just has their first kiss or haven't yet. 
It kinda gave me hope.

Nothing's What It Seems
Chapter 5
I was exhausted today at school because we didn't get home from dinner until late last night. "You're coming over tonight right?" I asked Adrian. "Yeah. Are we gonna do a sleepover after the party too?" she asked. "I'm thinking we'll have lots to talk about so, yes." I said with a smile. We giggled and started walking down the hallway when I saw Jared. "Hey Jared!" I said as I walked over to him. "Hey Emily. What's up?" he asked. "You're coming to the party tonight right?" I asked. "Will you be there?" he asked. "Yes." I said with a smile. "Then I'll definitely be there." he said with a flirty smile. "It's casual right?" he asked. I turned around and said, "Adri?" She walked over to us and said, "Yes. Totally casual." she paused. "Now I'd love to watch you to flirt some more, but I really have to get home." she continued as she turned her head to me. Me and Jared both laughed at her comment until I said, "Okay, okay. I'll see you tonight Jared." with a flirty look. He smiled at me and then I turned around with Adri and drove her home.

"I'm hereeeeee!" I heard Adri scream from the front door. she came into the kitchen with me and my sister and said, "Becca! I heard the news. Congratulations!" as she walked over to give her a hug. Becca turned to me and asked "Should I ask her yet?" I laughed and said, "She's having a pretty good day. I think this would be perfect timing." Becca turned back to Adrian and said, "Adri, I think of you as a little sister. Would you like to be one of my bridesmaids?" "Oh my god! Really?" she asked. "Thats so sweet of you to ask me! Yes!" she exclaimed. Adri came and sat on the stool next to me and my sister said, "I was thinking of asking Lauren too-" "No." I said. "What?" my sister asked confused. "She totally dumped us." Adrian explained. "What? Why?" my sister asked confused. "We have no idea." I said. "Weird. Well anyway, Adri, do you know anything about this Jared boy?" she asked with a sly smile on her face. Before Adri could start talking I interrupted and said "Well, we have a party to get ready for so we'll have to talk to you later." as I got off the stool. "Whatever." Becca said sarcastically. As me and Adri started walking up the stairs she shouted after us and said, "I'll find out eventually!" "Yeah, yeah!" I shouted back at her.

"So what are you wearing?" I asked as I jumped on my bed. "Something hot!" Adrian said. "Well, that's understood." I paused. "But seriously, show me." I said. She walked over to her duffle bag and pulled out a pair of cork wedges, dark denim jeans, and a form-fitting v-neck that was cropped at the bottom a little. "Cute." I said. "I'm gonna change." she said as she walked into my bathroom. I pulled out a pair of black wedges, a pair of light denim jean shorts, and faded dark blue crop top and changed into them. "You.look.hot." Adrian joked as she came out of the bathroom. Nice belly button ring by the way." she continued. "Thanks." I said "And how do I look?" she asked. "Like the girl Ben won't be able to take his eyes off of." I said. "Good. That's what I'm going for." she said with a smile. I straightened my hair pin straight, did a brown smoky eye, put black eyeliner on both my upper and lower lash line and put mascara on and I was waiting for Adri to finish getting ready. "Ready?" She asked. "I've been ready." I said. "Well then let's go!" she said happily. Before we walked out of the house Adri asked, "Whose car are we taking?" "Yours. Your turn to drive me around" I responded with a smile. I grabbed my house key  and shouted, "Mom, Dad, me and Adri are leaving! We'll be back later!" "Bye sweetie!" I heard my mom shout from her office. "Have fun with Jared!" Becca shouted from the family room. "Shut up Becca!" I said as I was laughing. We left in Adri's car and drove to the party.
