i have never been so discouraged in my life. my ballet teacher yelled at me all class saying if i dont wanna try to just not do it to the point of me staying in the corner for the rest of the class. i cried afterwards so much. ive never been so embarassed. i dont even want to go there again & its the place i was the most comfortable until today.

Chapter 1
Skylar and I sat on the couch watching the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, it was our favourite show. I looked at Skylar and said, “Hey Sky, how ‘bout we go into town for a bit?”
“Sure,” Skylar replied.
I went upstairs and put on some proper clothes. As I was pulling my skinny jeans up, and I heard the doorbell ring.
“I’ll get it Sharla!” Skylar yelled. About two seconds later Skylar was gasping at the door. I stood in silence for a minute to hear what was going on. “Oh. My. God. Aren’t you- Oh my- SHARLA!” Skylar yelled.
I threw on a shirt and ran down stairs in a panic. I saw four guys, and my best friend who I grew up with, Niall. “Skylar, can you go in the other room for a moment?” I said.
“Sure.” she replied
“Niall! What are you doing here? I missed you so much!” I said to him as I gave him a huge hug.
“I just thought it was time to see my lovely best friend and we wanted to surprise you!” Niall said.
“Hi Sharla!” Louis, Zayn, Harry, and Liam said in unison.
“Hello boys! How could I ever forget you guys?” I said as we got together in a group hug.
“Now boys, that’s my friend Skylar in the other room. She’s a lovely person and I think you’ll like her, but she doesn’t know yet that you guys are my mates.” I said trailing off.
“She seems sweet!” Louis pipped up as he looked through the glass door leading to the other room.
“Come on in and make yourself at home!” I said
“How about you lads go introduce yourselves to Skylar, I need to talked to Sharla for a bit!” Niall shouted to the boys, then looking at me with hopeful eyes.
We walked up to my room and sat down on my bed. I thought to myself that this couldn’t be happening. That my best friend would just surprise me like this! “I’m so happy to see you Shar! You look gorgeous! I missed you so much, it was almost unbearable,” Niall said to me as he played with my brown hair.
“I’m glad you missed me almost as much as I missed you,” I said smiling at him and blushing uncontrollably.
