Prologue
M y name is Tara. I have brown hair and hazel
eyes. My boyfriend treated me like dirt and attempted to kill
me. My parents moved from Nashville to LA just to get away
from him. I had to buy new clothes and recreate myself. I
bleached my hair and started wearing contacts. My friend
killed herself a month before my life went to pure hardships.
I have an older brother and an older sister. My life STINKS.
A blind man could see that. I am attending a new school in my
junior year and I'm getting my first job. I live in a
small apartment until my parents get money, until then, I can
have.my Sweet 16. I plan on having it Halloween night,
assuming I'll have more friends than I currently do. My
first job in LA will start the Saturday after the first day
of school. I will work in Forever21.

I was talking with this guy I kinda like. Then my friend saw
me and yelled, "Stop talking to your boyfriend we gotta
go!" Then she came over and said, "C'mon stop
talking to your boyfriend, we can't be late." He
didn't react...at all. What does that
