Chapter four
"What's a pretty girl like you
doing out here alone?" I heard a voice and looked up.
"Hey Ben," I smiled, taking my earhones out.
Ben was another of Alex's friends, one I actually got on with.
"But really, how come you're out here and not in there with Alex?"
"I don't have to be with him all the time, do I?" I asked, frustrated.
He shrugged. "Guess not."
We just sat there for a while.
"What are you two doing out here?" Alex barked.
"Nothing, man, we were just talking."
"Sure," Alex said sarcastically.
He pulled me up and practically dragged me back in to the party.
"Stop it!" I pulled my arm away from him. "I'm not your slave!"
"Almost sounds like you want me to tell everyone what you've been up to."
I gritted my teeth and stayed silent.
"There you are!"
Crystal, Madison, Sophia and Chloe came up to me.
"Sorry I was..." I looked at Alex. "Caught up. Where's Cody?" I asked Crystal.
"I don't know."
"I'll go find him," Alex volunteered.
I watched him go. I wish I didn't like him, it would make everything so much easier. Why do I always have to fall for guys who treat me like crap? We all got drinks and danced. Madi went off with a blonde guy a few minutes later.
Eventually I decided it was getting late so I went to find Alex to give me a ride home. I found him, making out with a brunette girl.

mouth was wide open,my tears streamed down my face like

river.Justin told me he was a virgin,like me.I guess,I would try not to care at the moment.I
kept singing the song,hoping to get over the fact,Justin lied to me.I couldn't do it though.I
heard the doorbell,so I openned it.I saw Justin."Get away,now."I say dead serious."No." he
responds back."I'm not kidding,Get out." I say in a upset tone,then slam the door in his face.I
look through the peek hole.He was still there.I rolled my eyes.I openned the door,"Fine.You
have five minutes to explain." I tell him upset,still."Okay,so Juli lied,me and her never saw
eachother.She just wanted to make you jealous." he told me.I knew he was
lying."Well,according to her text,you guys have been sleeping with each other for two
months?Explain that,Sherlock." he sighed."I'm sorry Dyl..."he said sadly."W-w-what..?" I said
thinking of what he said."So..J-J-Juli wasn't lying?" I ask."No.." he says hanging his head
down.The tears form in my eyes."No.." I clench my fists."I'm done.I'm done with this fight."I
tell him through my gritted teeth.I held my tears back.I was scared if I let that first tear
escape,the tears wouldn't stop raining down."What do you mean??"Justin asks."Be happy
with Juli.I'm done.Were done." I told him.And with that I told him to get out and I slammed the
door behind me.I practiced my act for a while,then decided to get some ice cream and watch
'Alvin and the Chipmunks'. I got strawberry,my favorite.And I watched the movies.I got
several texts from Justin,but I didn't care.I picked up my phone and texted my bestie,Cindy.

*Chapter One Hundred & Fourty-Seven; Part Two*
Amber's POV:

I saw the blurrs of
people emerging from
the building and
quickly piled into my
car. I didn't want
anyone to see me, not
even strangers. Once I
drove away and got
onto the main roads, I
pulled out my cell
phone and dialed up the
studio.
"Hello, it's Grace. How can I help you?"
"Hey Grace, it's me. How are the girls? Are they behaving?" I tried to sound as happy as I could, but failed miserably.
"Yeah, they're being very good. They are very good girls, Amber." I heard Miracle's laugh in the background and started to tear up.
"Okay, good. Thanks again for keeping an eye on them. I'll have Niall come pick them up in an hour or so, alright?" The line sounded dead for a second, but she pondered about my day.
"Are you doing alright, Honey?" I cried to myself as hard as I could without making a sound. She was one of my closest friends and I knew she knew I was crying and falling apart.
"Yeah, I'm fine." I said in a sort of harsh tone and then abruptly hung up on her. I had absolutley no people skills. I didn't really care though. At this point, all I cared about was me and my children.
When I got back to the flat, I ran right to the bedroom to cry in bed. I forgot that Niall had stayed the night, like he has for awhile, and was still asleep. It was only ten o'clock in the morning and I woke him up with my sobs.
"Hey, hey, hey. Calm down, how did it go?" He craddled me in his arms while I cried on his bare chest. My breathing became heavier and my tears fell harder from my eyes as I thought about it over and over again. How was this poissbly my life?
"It went exactly how it was supposed to." Niall continued to shush me while he rocked me to the beat of his heart. I felt myself drift off into a sleep and dream of a better life. It's funny because in my dream, I was in Niall's arms.
