year!” I turn around seeing my friend Kirsten jokingly
checking me out. “You want some of this? Too bad!” I
yell back at her as I walk like a model up the entrance steps
shaking my hips.” HEY NOW WAIT FOR ME!” she yells
back trying to run up the steps in her brand new 14 inch
heels.” How do you walk in those??” “Easy
it’s called wearing them 24/7.” We burst out laughing
as we walk to our home room class since we don’t have our
folders with our new lockers and locks yet. I look around the
room for a spot to sit when someone catches my eye. Tyler. (Flash
back) “Why are you breaking up with me??”
“Because think….I think we need to take a break.
Things just aren’t working.” “Things just
aren’t working? Wow just whatever.”I throw the heart
sculpture I was going to give him on the ground. “BY THE
WAY, HAPPY 1 YEAR YOU JERK!” I run down the steps, but as I
get closer to the last one everything gets blurry. The tears are
streaming down my face as I hear him calling my name but I run to
my car and call up Kirsten. “ Hey come sit over
here” I get pulled back into reality by Kirsten pushing me
to a group of people that we always hung out with ever since we
were in 1st grade. I take a peek over my shoulder to see
Tyler with his football friends. Dark brown hair with bright
green eyes that would make any girl melt right on the spot.
“Who do you keep staring at… oh no…
you’re not staring at Tyler are you???” “Of
cores not I’m uhh I’m looking any new people. Maybe
there’s some hot fresh meat.” “Hmmm ok.”
She says turning to flirt with someone she barely knew. I
wonder if he ever thinks about me… Ugh just forget about
him. He broke up with you. He’s no good. It’s a new

I push my way through the crowded hallway I put
my head phones in and turn on my I-pod to Cher Lloyd want you
back. I get to my locker and try the combination since we really
haven’t needed any supplies for the classes I haven’t
gone to go my locker… till now. My bag was getting in the
way. I try my combination again. Still can’t get it open.
Ugh. “I couldn’t help but notice you
need some help opening your locker” I nearly jumped out of
my shoes. I look up and see it’s….
