One in a
Million
*Chapter
One Hundred &
Fifty-Eight; Part
One*
Niall's
POV:
Things
were starting to fall
into place again. This
is what my life
would've been like
if I hadn't left
Amber on our wedding
day; sometimes I wonder
what would be going on
if I hadn't. I
would be Miracle's
father, and, maybe,
even a father to some
other children. I
don't think I'd
change anything if I
could, though.
Amber
started to wear the
engagment ring I had
given her so long ago,
along with the dog tag
I gave her when we met.
It really showed me how
much she actually loved
me and Lilli. She was
recieving so much hate
for moving on too
quickly, but everyday
she just blew it off
because this is where
she was
happy.
It had
started to flurry
outside a bit and we
decided to go for a
walk in the park with
the girls. The winding
path was coated in a
fine layer of snow. My
eyes found Amber
walking next to me; she
was watching Lilli and
Miracle run in
front of us. "Be
careful, girls! We
don't want you to
get hurt!"
She was
wearing a pare of flare
jeans with slits in the
knees and a black pea
coat over top of her
Mickey Mouse sweater. A
leopard print scarf was
snug around her neck
and a black beanie
rested on her messy
blonde hair. I loved
when she wore her hair
like that; she had just
rolled out of bed,
brushed it, and we left
so she had no time to
do anything to it.
Her and I
sat on a bench across
from the small play
area Miracle and Lilli
went to play on. I
wrapped my arm around
Amber and watched the
girls frolic about the
snow. "We make
such a beautiful
family, Niall."
She whispered to me as
she cuddled up to my
body. I held her
closer, wanting to keep
her as warm as
possible.
"I
love that about
us." I loved
everything about Lilli.
She physically looked
just like me, but you
could tell her features
were changing as she
grew; one day,
she'd look just
like Amber and almost
nothing like me. Her
actions were a mix of
both of us, depending
on her moods she was
in, but I mostly caught
her acting like her
mother. She was
stubborn and headstrong
and compassionate and I
loved that about
her.
I loved
Miracle just as much as
I loved Lilli. She was
a beautiful baby girl.
She, too, looked more
like Liam than she did
Amber and, from what I
could tell, she was
going to stay like
that. Her and
Lilli's
personalities mirrored
each other though,
which is why they got
along so perfectly.
Lilli always took
Miracle under her wing
and treated her the way
a big sister should
treat a younger
sister.
