I would like to thank you
for this website. as it being thanksgiving and all, this is one
of the
things i am most thankful for. You have no idea how many nights i
layed in bed
scrolling through the quote pages laughing so hard at things
other have posted. I literally
laugh out loud when i read stuff from here, no matter where i am.
I am also currently
reading like, eight stories right now on here. They are all
EXCELLENT. I love
everything about this site. it always brings me joy. And i know
for a fact im not the
only one that this brings happiness to. It always cheers
me up.
Another thing is, we can be who we are. We dont have to pretend
or hide. We can be open.
Gay, straight, bi, overweight, underweight, black, white, asian,
poor, rich, happy, or sad.
We dont have to lie about who we are.
Also, this website has helped so many people survive because
there are SO many other kids on this site going through the exact
same things. Im not gona lie, when i started being depressed, i
thought
it was only me. and that i was the "weird one". No. Its
not only me. And its not weird like i thought
it was. Ive met so many other poeple with the same problems i
have, and its helped
SO much.
One last thing before i go. A lot of people have got best friends
through here. so im going to take a moment to talk about mine.
His name is Danny. I met him about 6 months ago on here. We were
both planning to kill ourselfs. BUT we met eachother. We've
gotten better. We're helping eachother out of
depression and sadness. Hes the BEST friend ive ever had and the
most amazing person ive ever met....and i met him because of
you.
So thank you, Steve, For creating this website♥

One night I had a dream...
I dreamed I was walking along the beach with
the Lord, and
Across the sky flashed scenes from my life.
For each scene I noticed two sets of footprints in the sand;
One belonged to me, and the other to the Lord.
When the last scene of my life flashed before us,
I looked back at the footprints in the sand.
I noticed that many times along the path of my life,
There was only one set of footprints.
I also noticed that it happened at the very
lowest
and saddest times in my life
This really bothered me, and I questioned the Lord about it.
"Lord, you said that once I decided to follow you,
You would walk with me all the way;
But I have noticed that during the
most troublesome times in my life,
There is only one set of footprints.
I don't understand why in times when I
needed you the most, you should leave me.
The Lord replied, "My precious,
precious
child. I love you, and I would never,
never leave you during your times of
trial and suffering.
When you saw only one set of footprints,
It was then that I carried you."
I remember this prayer everytime I feel like life isn't going well for me. It might be hard to deal with everything, but God is always there for you, especially in the darkest of times.
