It was lunch time Alaine sighed. While pushing her food back and forth on her styrophome tray.

Lexi: "Eat. "

Alaine:"Im too upset, he didn't even notice me."

Lexi:" He wont notice you by not eating either."

Alaine:"Fine"

They sat in silence for the rest of the period. All week Alaine wore different cute outfits, fall dresses, letherman jackets, cute tops, new jeans, pencil skirts. She tried every type of style. Nothing caught his eye nothing worked. Finally Friday she wore a wool sweater, her hair was up in a messy bun, with yoga pants and Uggs. She gave up, their was no point if he wont realize. 

Edwin: "Hey, you look nice today." Alaine just stared at him like why? Why do you talk to me now?

Alaine: "uh thanks i was too lazy to do much"

Edwin: "well  you look fine." He smiled at her "I'll see you later"

Alaine: "Okay byee!" She waved. 

Alaine was so puzzled she didnt understand why the one day she bums, he talks to her. She wished she knew what went threw his head, Alaine started walking to class. She found Edwin kissing the girl he was talking to just the other day. Her heart shattered.
