Chapter One
“Stevie, Stevie, STEVIEHHHH!” Mariah said, her voice getting louder and louder, as she shook me awake.
“Where the heck is the snooze button on this thing?” I asked, keeping my eyes closed and poking her a few times.
“I didn’t come with one,” she chuckled, “now come on! You promised the fans from other time zones you’d do a Twitcam about now.”
“It’s four o’clock in the morning,” I said and she shrugged.
“You made the promise,” she said. “And I thought Stevie Jacobs never breaks her promises.”
“I sure as unicorns have horns can start today,” I said and she laughed.
“Don’t be weird,” she said. “It’s not appealing to men. Now get up!”
“This is Stevie you’re talking about!” I said. “The most important thing on my mind is not guys, it’s whether or not I can still fit into my monster footie pajamas or if I need new ones.”
I heard her laugh and I got out my laptop.
“Hello,” I said into the camera. “Well isn’t this an attractive face huh? Mar just got me up and it’s four AM here.”
I looked to see if I was getting any questions, and I was.
“What kind of stuff do you miss doing when you’re on tour?” I read from the screen. “I actually miss talking to my sister and brother a lot. My sister, Riley, and I are really close and we used to talk about all sorts of stuff like boys and crap like that.”
I read more questions and laughed. “What kind of boys?” I read. “To be perfectly honest, we talked about One Direction a lot. Like, she had a weird thing for Harry and, I always said I didn’t have a favorite, but I have a soft spot for Niall. I mean, his eyes, and his accent, and all the flipping gifs of him shirtless in the Live While We’re Young and Kiss You videos’. I just can’t even.”

I read that and almost peed myself.
“Yeah,” I chuckled. “I am a fan girl but let’s keep it here. Between you and me, nobody else knows about this.”

“What the heck is going on in there?” Mariah asked from the kitchen.
“I accidentally fan girled in front of 10,000 people about Niall Horan and now they’re all tweeting him stuff,” I said as she walked into my room.
“Smooth,” she said and I laughed.
“Yeah and the worst part is,” I started, “I don’t even look presentable right now! You could’ve given me some time to look all hot and stuff before I go and fan girl in front of 10,000 people and possibly the one and only Niall Horan.”
“Stop saying his name!” she shouted. “You might be able to recover still.”
I laughed really hard and then looked at the tweets I was getting again.
“@StevieJ too late to recover now girl. Check Niall’s twitter,” I read out loud. “Okay! Let’s go to Niall’s twitter everybody! Bringing the party over there right from the screen on my laptop. Okay, here we- OH MY INVENTOR OF CHEESE, MARIAH!”
“What?” she asked and I pointed to a tweet Niall had just made.
@StevieJ too late to recover now hun… The great Niall sees and hears all haha
“See what you did!” I yelled jokingly at the fans who were watching. “He better not be at the awards tonight.”
“He’s not,” Mariah said. “He has a sick family member and he’s saying back in Ireland. The other guys are going to be there though.”
“Well they better not know about this,” I said.

“God dang it!” I said and Mariah laughed.
“I have to say,” she said, “you kind of set yourself up there.”
“Shut your mouth,” I said and she laughed.
“Okay, obviously Stevie cannot handle doing a Twitcam at this hour so, toodalloo!” Mariah said, turning off the camera.
“Well this morning has started off productively,” I said sarcastically.
“Oh yes,” Mariah played a long, “yes it has.”
