Cupid's

Chapter (I honestly have no idea so just pretend this is the
number I'm on I don't feel like checking)
MARIAH’S POV
Soon after Stevie and Niall left, Louis knocked at the door. I
opened it and he smiled.
“Well look who’s dressed all nice for the
Tommo,” he said and I laughed.
“Would you rather me go change into sweat pants and a
hoodie?” I asked.
“Either way you’re beautiful,” he said and I
felt myself blush.
He grabbed my hand and led me out the door, not giving me time to
grab a light jacket. We had planned to just go for a walk around
central park because it’s so nice being there late at
night. We sat down on a bench and I shivered a little bit. Even
in late spring it’s still a bit chilly at night.
“Cold, love?” Louis asked and I nodded.
“That stinks,” he said and I scoffed.
“I’m kidding!”
He took off his sweatshirt and gave it to me, still chuckling.
After I put it on, he put his arm around me, pulling me closer to
him.
“Can I tell you a secret,” he asked me.
“Yeah, sure,” I said.
“The boys and I all saw Stevie and you on YouTube for the
first time together but I actually saw a video of you by yourself
doing a Twitcam,” he chuckled. “I saw it months
before the other guys and I even met.”
“Really?” I chuckled. “Was it the one where I
got bored and started singing—“
“You gotta strut like you mean it, free your mind. It's
not enough just to dream it. C'mon c'mon get up when you
feel it it's your chance to shine. Strut like you mean it,
c'mon c'mon c'mon,” he sang.
“Shut up,” I whined. “I was what 16 when that
happened? And I was bored.”
“It was hilarious,” he said and I stuck my tongue out
at him.
“Shush, child,” I said and he made a face.
“I’m older than you,” he said and I sighed.
“I just can’t win can I?” I said and he
laughed.
“Probably not,” he said.
We just hung out really, talking and laughing. After a while we
heard a familiar loud laugh not too far away. I turned around to
find Niall and Stevie, hand in hand, Niall obviously laughing at
something Stevie said.
“Ready for a double date?” I asked Lou and he looked
at me, confused.
“Hey guys!” Niall said. “Didn’t expect to
see you two here.”
“Neither did we!” Louis chuckled.
We all talked for a moment and headed back to me and
Stevie’s hotel. Stevie was looking around through old
things and pulled out a piece of paper.
“Hey Mar,” she chuckled. “Remember
this?”
STEVIE’S POV
After going back to the hotel with Louis, Mariah, and Niall, we
were all goofing around and looking through old stuff Mariah and
I had with us. I found a really old note in my jacket pocket and
looked at it.
“Hey Mar,” I chuckled. “Remember
this?”
“Oh my God,” she said, looking at the note.
“This is from when I was having trouble with that
kid!”
“Yeah I know,” I said.
“What is that?” Niall asked.
“It’s an old note,” Mariah said. “Stevie
read it.”
I cleared my throat dramatically and started reading the note.
“Dear Mariah. I know you’re having trouble now and I
don’t know if this will help or not, but I want you to
remember, when I somehow get famous and take you with me;
he’ll wonder why he ever played those games with your head.
He’ll wish he stayed good friends with you and never lied.
You’ll be better off, with loads of people chasing after
you just because they want a hug or a “hello” and
then they’ll probably never see you again. You’ll get
an amazing admirer who’s famous and he’ll turn into
your boyfriend (I’d use a name but what if someone finds
this? LOL). The best part is you’ll forget about him but
he’ll never forget about you. You’ll be successful
and have a great boyfriend and he’ll be feeling like you
now. I’m sorry if this makes things worse, I tried, but I
think you need to know that things can get better from here. They
can and they will.
From Stevie.”
