It's a dark hole no one can escape from.
So why do we put up with it?
Why do we get pushed and pulled around like we're nothing.
Why do we choose to stay here and get abused?
Everyone has a choice.
To be stuck in this complex misery. Or to end it all in a blink of an eye.
We could always just lose the game.
Yet there's always something. Something telling us to keep trying.
Keep striving to win. To beat this wretched game.
Maybe it's the adrenaline rush.
Maybe it's the fact that we want to see ourselves succeed.
Or maybe it's because we love the game too much to see it completely fall apart and end.
