We're Friends Right?
Chapter 3

I woke up at 11am from hearing my name being called, “WHAT?” I shouted back not wanting to move.
“Mom’s off to work; do you want to come to the beach with me and my friends?” Eli asked while coming into my room, I could tell he felt bad for me not having any friends here.
“Nah, that’s fine ill just stay here I think maybe I’ll go out later, you have fun.”
      “Ok, see you tonight”
After he left though I didn’t feel like just sitting around the house all day so, I decided to go to the mall and get some new bikinis.  When I got to the mall I found the cutest white bikini it would look great with a tan. Unfortunately a tan is something I did not have so I decided to go straight to the beach from there, maybe id meet up with my brother and he could drive me home.
When I got to the beach I changed into my new suit and laid a towel that I had just got out. This was an ideal spot for tanning there was no shade around and I was far enough from the water that I wouldn’t get splashed, as an extra added bonus it had a clear view to a beach volleyball game that was going on. As I walked by the court on my way to my spot I saw a few of the boys look up at me from the corner of my eye. I was well aware of just how much I had changed and how much better I looked now.
As I was laying on my stomach with my eyes closed I felt the volleyball hit the top of my head, it really hurt but I knew people must be looking so I didn’t make a scene. I just turned over and looked around for where it went. It turned out the ball was right next to me so I picked it up right as I heard one of the boys running over here.
“I’m so sorry, is your head okay? Are you hurt?” A beautifully deep voice asked me.
“No I’m fine, here this is yours” I said handing him the volleyball, he took and just held onto it still standing with me. At this point I looked him over, he had light brown messy short hair, stellar blue eyes and a body you would expect on a Greek god statue, with a great tan.
“I’m Emerson by the way, you must be new around here I don’t think I’ve have ever seen you around before.”
“I’m Ariella, and well I’m sort of new not really” I responded, he looked a little confused but he didn’t have time to ask me more because just then his team mates were yelling for him to bring the ball back.
“Well Ariella I have to go, but if you actually want to play the game you should come.” He offered sounding hopeful.
“I should be getting home soon. Maybe tomorrow, will you be here?” I asked.
“Where else would I be?” he winked at me and then left back to the court.
