So theres this guy. I've been friends with him for about 4 years. I met him when he dated my best friend. They dated for six months but the whole time they were really unhappy and i was litterally what kept their relationship together. From the very beginning him and i had a lot more in common then they ever did but i never liked him like that and as far as i know he didnt like me either.
He became my best friend. She was treating him horribly and when they broke up i refused to take sides and i am still good friends with both of them now. Shes a bit jealous, and she always has been of how close him and i are and hates the fact that i talk to him so we dont talk about him much. But one day we did talk about him and she confessed to me that she always thought he liked me.
Fast forward, he's been acting differently. He always text me when hes drunk, thats nothing new but now its like he askes me to come over and tells me that he misses me. Everytime he wants to hang out with him its when he wants to drink. I know that sounds bad but i know hes not trying to do anything like that with me because he knows me so well and knows im not like that at all. We talk all the time but recently he started joking around a lot more than he used to.
I'm honestly just really confused and im not sure whether im reading too much into this or not.
