If I did something to hurt you or offend you, then come and talk to
me about it. Don't just do everything you can to make me feel
like crap. I understand that you thought I was being serious when I
said I was glad that you were moving out but I was smiling and
laughing when I said that and you were laughing as well. So how
about instead of faking a smile and going along with it you say
something to me. You're 15 years older than me. Act it.
Don't do everything in your power to try and hurt my feelings.
Because of you, I now don't want to leave my room or talk to
anyone in this house. So thank you VERY much.

Don't chase people.
Be yourself, do your own
thing and work hard.
The right people - the ones who
really belong in your life -
will come to you and stay.
Lollipops turn into cigarettes. The
innocent ones turn into slu.ts. Homework goes in the trash.
Mobile phones are being used in class. Detention becomes
suspension. Soda becomes vodka. Bikes become cars. Kisses turn
into se.x. Remember when getting high meant swinging on the
playground? When protection meant wearing a helmet? When the
worst things you could get from boys were cooties? Dad’s
shoulders were the highest place on earth and mum was your
hero? Your worst enemies were your siblings. Race issues were
about who ran the fastest. War was only a card game. And the
only drug you knew was cough medicine. When wearing a skirt
didn’t make you a slu.t. The most pain you felt was when you
skinned your knees, and goodbyes only meant until tomorrow? And
we couldn’t wait to grow up.
