am a normal 11-year-old girl from a small Europe country (Greece).
In my country (and in most places of the world) the most popular
sport is football (or soccer, if you are American). I love
football. Watching football, playing football, talking about
football, anything about football (I am even watching football
right now!). So, what's wrong with that?I want to be a member of a football team, to have an experience about that. I really need to exercise more and I know that football is a good way to exercise. But, of course, my mother doesn't agree. She also likes watching football, but she doesn't agree with me. Why? Of course, because I am a GIRL. And according to (almost) everyone, girls don't play football. Stupid ideas. Of course girls play football! There are also teams for GIRLS!
I am not good at football, I just like playing it. I try to get better, but it's not working. The only way to get better is to train in a field, with trainers e.t.c.
Can you guys tell me what to do? I need help.
