I miss when you were mine
Some things I'm so deadly sure about. I know that they will
become a reality for me and the only uncertainty is timing. But
then there's those other plans for the future that terrify me
just as much, if not more, because there's a sliver of doubt
that surrounds them. Maybe as I grow older it will wither away. I
guess I can only hope.
I start my senior year tomorrow. I'm mostly excited but I
can't shake the nervous feeling. It'll subside soon
enough so it's not bothering me too much. I'm not a very
excitable person, I try to be but I can't always get excited
over the little things. Fast internet? Yes I'm giddy! But a
friends birthday party? Hmm, not very exciting. So it's odd
that I'm excited today, but it's a reminder that I'm
forever changing...no matter how slight the changes are.
