Competition is good, I think. Maybe healthy even. There's nothing more motivating than having a peak at what someone else is doing, and thinking to yourself "Hmm, I could do that better." And then working the hours away until you have done better. Not better than them though, because that's not the point. The point is to be better than yourself, and sometimes to become better than yourself, you need to see what someone else is doing that you aren't.

 

Time is a creature that will not wait for anyone. It is not impatient, but it doesn't dawdle either. Time is fixated on it's own timeline, and no one else's. Time screws everyone over, but sometimes it works in our favour. Time is a lot of things, but it is not your friend. Nor is it your foe.

 

I've noticed a trend, adults don't use the word 'forever' as much as they used to. Is it because they've come to terms with their mortality? Or is it because it's a word you disown when you stop believing at a certain point? Did they outgrow forever like their stuffed animals? Did they move on from forever and decide that it wasn't something they were after? I don't know what it is. I have so many questions, but I do have one answer. Forever does exist. It lives on in the heart, mind and soul. But like all things, it does so only if you want it to. I guess they all gave it up. But that leads to another, final, question; why?
 

You have a face that I don't want to forget. You have a laugh that makes me want to laugh, and a contagious smile that I can never get out of my head. You're eyes are like twinkling stars in a cold winter's night, and your hair is silkier than silk and softer than soft. You're hugs are the perfect combination of not too tight, but tight enough.
