Wanting to be heard: A Silent Song

The first note plays
As the conscience world slid into a daze
the silent song has just begun
but the world's hearing none.

Note by note the song plays on
the still drums began at dawn
through its life it has grown stronger
but this on note can't hold any longer

As the silent song begins to cease
The world's daze is broken to a piece
No one knew the strength it had
Because its voice was silent and sad
