Does everyone remember the good ol' days when...
-We could wake up whenever we wanted.
-We watched shows like Catdog, Lizzie McGuire, Rocket Power, Recess, Even Stevens, the Amanda Show, All That, and Sister, Sister.
-We ate lunch before we went to school, not to mention that the school day was only about three hours long.
-If someone was talking about a test and said "wow, that was so hard!" someone wouldn't immediately respond with "that's what she said!"
-We were learning 1+1, not (a+b²)+3,405,112.
-You were cool if you had that sixty-four pack of crayons, with the sharpener.
-Your clothes didn't matter to other people.
-You were smart if you could write all of the letters in the alphabet in the right direction.
-You were friends with everyone.

Nowadays in good ol' middle school...
-We have to get up at six a.m.
-We watch shows like the Secret Life of the American Teenager, the Hills, What I Like About You, and Desperate Housewives.
-We have a period to eat lunch during school, and our school days are seven hours long.
-"That's what she said" is the responce to almost every sentence.
-Algebra, not arithmetic.
-You're cool if you're skinny. You're cool if you've got clothes from Hollister or Abercrombie and Fitch. No one gives a damn about your crayons.
-Your clothes are what you're judged on. Your clothes determine your "label."
-You're smart if your GPA is a 4.0. (we didn't even know what a GPA was in kindergaren:].)
-People usually only have about five or so close friends, and then you have the people who you hate,  and the people who hate you.

Aren'tcha happy things have changed?
