as we waited in a room for the results a million thoughts were flying in my head. Abortion?. no i cant kill a baby. Adoption?. no.. i cant give away a child i haven't given a chance to.. so my only other option was to keep the baby.. but.. im not even 18.. and Ralph's the dad.. oh my god.. by this point i was hyperventilating. Henry just grabbed my hand as the doctor stepped in the room..
"Well..." he started.. i just wanted to scream at him to get it over with.. im pregnant i know..
"it seem we have a situation on our hands.." he said.. i gulped.. I Know.. Im Pregnant.. i felt like screaming again
"your.... Not pregnant.." he said.. it felt like a million weights has been lifted..
"but then whats the situation Doc.." Johnny said loudly.. i laughed
"its just weird.. she doesn't have AIDS.. shes not pregnant.. its like.. some Angel was looking after her the whole time.." he said like he was still trying to make do with it himself.. all at once Henry and Derek both looked at me.
"i know. im happy too.." i said quietly..
"you know you owe him one.." Derek said jokingly as we stepped outside the hospital..
"mhm.. and how exactly am i going to do that?" i asked
"well.. it could be like The Box.. a life is saved.. another is taken away.." he said as we stepped back in the Audi
"don't even joke like that.." i said seriously..
"OK.. im sorry.." he said honestly..
"i needa pick up my car.." i said just remembering..
"oh that's right.." Derek said. as we pulled up into Walmart we just missed a car hitting us.. i looked at Derek through the mirror.. he gave me an "i told ya so.." look.. i just shook my head.
"you'll be OK on your own kiddo?" Derek asked as i stepped in my car..
"Johnny..." i said batting my eyelashes..
"Fine.." he said annoyed and getting out of the car.. i laughed and he walked into mine
"met ya there.." Derek said laughing and pulling up his window. i pulled up mine too
"so are we going to get together some time again? or will we just have to wait till next year.." i asked..
"nah.. i think we can arrange something.." he said with a wink.. i laughed
"good.. i miss you guys.." i said
"aw.. i miss you too shawty.." he said i looked at him.
"im not that short.." i said with a joking frown.. then my phone went off with an weird ring.
"Hello?" i asked no one answered they just hung up.. i looked at the call back list.. no ones number was listed..
"Jason don't have no phone up there so i don't know who called ya.." Johnny said laughing..
"well no duh its not Jason.." i said rolling my eyes..
"well.. no that i think about it.. wasn't that the ring you had for Jason's number.." he said
"good memory.. but i deleted it like last month.. which is the odd thing.." i said still searching through the call back list..
"there's not going to be a number if he used Gods number.." he said
"OK you needa stop with this joking about heaven.." i said seriously..
"alright.. im sorry.." he said i just nodded.. clearly annoyed.. we just drove back to Jason's house in silence..
