Awhile ago after my dad kicked
me out of the house. I was sitting at a bus stop because it
was the only cover around that I could sit at and not get
told to leave. I was just thinking about random stuff when a
boy sat down next to me we sat there in silence for awhile
until he cleared his throat and said "you're not waiting
for a bus are you" I shook my head no. He then asked if
I needed a place to stay I shook my head no again I planned
on staying at a place that is there for people that are
in situations like mine... temporarily homeless. I knew
my dad would let me back in the house in a couple of days I
didn't even know who this guy was and he was offering me a
place to stay.He sighed stood up and left. As knew he
would my dad let me come back but it wasn't for long then he
kicked m out again I went to back to the bus stop like I
always do when this happens. The weather was starting to get
cooler, I didn't bring my jacket and I was shivering then I
saw him again he was coming towards the bus stop I didn't
know what to do so I just sat there and shivered just before
he sat down he shrugged off his jacket and handed it to me I
said "no thanks" then he asked "Is that all
you can say, no?" I smiled and said "no" he
draped his jumper over my shoulders despite my various
protests then we started talking about life and I told him
about my situation he seemed angry at my dad I tried to move
the conversation to a different subject it worked. We kept
talking until it started getting darker and colder he stood
up looked around and said "I'd better be going
home" I said okay and tried to hand his jacket back but
he wouldn't accept it he then asked if I wanted to stay at
his place for awhile his mother wouldn't mind I was going to
say no thanks but the place I usually stayed at was closed
because they were adding more rooms so I had no where else to
go so I said yes he held out his hand I grabbed it and
we walked back to his house. I stayed there for awhile his
mother was okay with it all and a couple weeks later
he asked me out.
we're still together...
