Memories of you #3
I remember our second conversation. We were at
camp where we were playing softball on the same team. You were
standing in the back to catch the balls and I was standing near
you to dodge them. You were laughing at me because I was trying
to run away from the bugs and you asked me if I was having fun. I
told you that I was forced to come and I hate softball and you
laughed again. You then began to ask me why I even came to East
Capitol and I told you my partial story. The look on your face
explained everything that night. A ball came flying at me and I
almost freaked out until you caught the ball in front of my face.
Three strikes. You gave me your famous smile. I was up to bat and
I had no clue how to hold a bat. You taught me how and I hit the
ball. I never got any strikes throughout that whole
game.
